INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove the front cover and insert a 1 x 9V battery into the compartment. Replace the cover.
  2. Screw the Timer onto the tap until it is tight. Do not use a wrench or pliers.
  3. Turn on the tap. The Timer must be set up at the time of day you want it to start watering.
  4. Start with the frequency dial on any setting other than reset. At this stage of the setup, it doesn’t matter what number the dial is set to.
  5. Turn the run time dial to your desired setting.
  6. Now go back to the frequency dial and turn to reset (this is a necessary step before choosing your desired setting), the red light should then start to blink.
  7. Whilst the red light is blinking, turn the frequency dial to your desired setting.
  8. Once the set-up is complete, the green light will flash once.

Set-up example

To water each afternoon at 6 pm for 15 minutes, for example, you must physically set the Timer at 6 pm by doing the following:

  1. Turn the frequency dial to reset, then to 24 hours.
  2. Turn the run-time dial to 15 minutes.
Your Timer will turn on automatically in 24 hours for 15 minutes, and every 24 hours thereafter, until you reset it.

Features

Manual ON/OFF
Can be used anytime. When you turn the run time dial to ‘ON’, the valve will open for 30 minutes and then turn off automatically. Or, if you finish watering beforehand, you can turn the dial to the ‘OFF’ position manually. Remember, when finished, the run time dial must be turned back to your required setting to resume your original set-up.

Time delay
To delay the watering start time in one-off situations, press the yellow button in the middle of the Timer. Each time you press the button, it will delay the start time by 1] hour.  This works for a maximum of 12 hours.

Low-battery indicator
If the low battery indicator light remains on continuously, then the valve will shut off the water and lock automatically. Please replace the battery to restart your watering schedule.
