INTRODUCTION
This durable and strong grader blade is made from high-carbon steel that rotates 360° on a king pin and is fully replaceable. It features moldboard with adjustable reverse and forward positions and offers a cutting edge height of 6 in. with a max. horsepower of 50. It is ideal for clearing or moving dirt, snow, soil, small aggregate and other material.

WORK AREA
- Operate in a safe work environment. Keep your work area clean, well-lit and free of distractions. Place lights so you are not working in a shadow.
- Keep anyone not wearing the appropriate safety equipment away from the work area.
- Store unused tools properly in a safe and dry location to prevent rust or damage. Lock tools away and keep out of the reach of children.
- Do not operate in a wet environment.
- Using grader blade in a confined or tight area may place the operator dangerously close to cutting tools or rotating parts.
- Keep children and bystanders at least 25 ft from the tool during operation.
- Do not operate near or around any water pipes or other mechanical hazards that may be hidden from view.
- Do not operate near or around any power lines, circuits, or electrical sources. The tool is not insulated and contact will result in electrical shock.
- Do not operate or transport on steep inclines.
- When not in use, park and store on a hard, level surface.
PERSONAL SAFETY WARNING
Wear personal protective equipment approved by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
- Always wear impact safety goggles that provide front and side protection for the eyes. Eye protection equipment should comply with CSA Z94.3-07 or ANSI Z87.1 standards based on the type of work performed.
- Wear the appropriate type of full-face shield in addition to safety googles, as the work can create chips, abrasive or particulate matter.
- Wear gloves that provide protection based on the work materials or to reduce the effects of tool vibration.
- Wear protective clothing designed for the work environment and tool.
- Non-skid footwear is recommended to maintain footing and balance in the work environment.
- Wear steel toe footwear or steel toe caps to prevent a foot injury from falling objects.
- Wear the appropriate rated dust mask or respirator.
- This tool can cause hearing damage. Wear hearing protection gear with an appropriate Noise Reduction Rating to withstand the decibel levels.
- Wear a hard hat or appropriate head protection when operating.
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Control the tool, personal movement and the work environment to avoid personal injury or damage to tool.
- Do not operate any tool when tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications.
- Avoid wearing clothes or jewelry that can become entangled with the moving parts of a tool. Keep long hair covered or bound.
- Do not overreach when operating a tool. Proper footing and balance enables better control in unexpected situations.
- Always fasten seat belt when in vehicle.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

- Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a specific function. Do not modify or atter this tool or use a for an unintended purpose.
- Do not use the tool if any parts are damage broken or misplaced. Repair or replace the parts.
- Industrial or commercial applications must follow OSHA requirements.
- Use any dust collection systems that are approved for use with this tool.
- Remove keys or wrenches before connecting the grader blade to an air supply, power supply, or before turning on the blade.
- Secure the work with clamps or a vise instead of your hands when practical.
- Always stop the vehicle’s engine, remove the key and set the brake before dismounting or exiting.
- Operate from the appropriate seat of the vehicle only.
- Never allow any person to ride on the equipment.
- Always keep the tool’s guards in place. Do not operate without the guards.
- Do not exceed this implements maximum speed of 5 MPH. Exceeding this speed may result in loss of control.
- When using the blade in the reverse direction, do not ram large dirt or snow piles.
- The vehicle used with this tool must be equipped with a roll over protection structure (ROPS) and a seat belt. Keep fordable ROPS in the locked up position at all times.

impalement or in being run over by vehicle.

UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing. Replace the missing part before operating. Failure to do so could result in a malfunction and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect for damage. Make sure that all items in the parts list are included.
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
- Select an area for assembly that is clean and free of any debris that might create tripping hazards or other safety issues.
- Do not lift heavy parts or assemblies without a crane, jack, tackle, fork truck or other mechanical device.
- If the assembly instructions call for parts or assemblies to be blocked, use only blocking material that is in good condition and is capable of handling the weight of the assembly that is to be blocked. Also, ensure blocking material in on a clean, dry surface.
- Never put any hands or body parts under blocked up assemblies.
- Once assembly is complete, thoroughly inspect all components, such as nuts, bolts, hydraulic fittings, to ensure they are tightened.
ATTACHING TO TRACTOR
A 3-point category 1 hitch is required for this grader blade. The lower 3-point arms of the hitch must be stabilized to prevent side-to-side movement. Most tractors have sway blocks or adjustable chains for this purpose.
- Locate a flat and level concrete surface.
- Slowly back the tractor up to the grader blade while using the tractor’s 3-point hydraulic control to align the lower hitch arms and ball swivels with the hitch lugs on the grader blade.
- Engage the tractor’s parking brake, shut the engine off, and remove the key before dismounting.
- Attach the lower arms to the hitch pins and secure with operator supplied linch pins.
- Connect the top centre link to the upper hitch using operator supplied clevis and linch pins.
- Ensure that the lower hitch arms are blocked to prevent excessive side-to-side movement.
- Return to the tractor and slowly operate the controls up and down to check for clearance between the grader blade and the tractor tires, frame and drawbar. a. Move or remove the drawbar if it interferes with the grader blade.
- Manually adjust one of the two lower lift arms up or down in order to ensure grader is level from left or right.
- Manually adjust the length of the top centre link to ensure grader is level from front to back.
OPERATION
It is essential that any operator of this tool reads and understands this manual and considers the appropriate safety measures and precautions.
PRE-FIELD INSPECTION
Accomplish the following once the grader blade has been attached.
- Fully inspect the tractor’s safety equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Inspect the grader blade for loose nuts and bolts, tightening accordingly.
- Carefully raise and lower the blade to ensure the drawbar, tires and other equipment on the tractor do not contact the grader blade frame.
- Verify that the grader blade is level from left to right and front to back.
FIELD INSPECTION
Accomplish the following before starting any operation.
- Fully inspect the work area for ditches, drop-offs, stumps, posts, rocks and other unforeseen objects that can cause performance and safety issues for the blade and the tractor.
- Verify the grader blade is set to the correct working height.
- After the first 50 ft of operation, stop to check and see that the grader blade is adjusted properly.
- Periodically turn the tractor off, remove the key, and check for any foreign objects wrapped around the blade.
- Block the grader blade up before removing any objects.
- Frequently inspect the grader blade for loose bolts or nuts, tightening as needed.
TRANSPORTING
Adhere to the following when traveling with or transporting the grader blade
- Attach and use accessory lights, SMV signs, clean reflectors and other adequate devices to warn operators in other vehicles of your presence.
- Limit your speed to 20 MPH or less.
- Transport only with a tractor of sufficient size and horsepower.
- Leave enough clearance for the grader to pass safely over obstacles such as trees or fences.
- Reduce the tractor ground speed when turning. Do not attempt any steep or sharp turns.
- Shift the tractor to a lower gear when traveling over rough or hilly terrain.
- Cross diagonally through dips to prevent hanging up the tractor and/or the grader blade.
- Always travel in a fashion that allows faster vehicles to safely pass.
- Always comply with all federal and local laws.
USING THE GRADER BLADE
Accomplish the following to clear debris or material with the grader blade
- Before starting the tractor, make sure that it out of gear, that the parking brake is engaged, and that the grader blade is resting on the ground.
- Start the engine and set the throttle speed at a low idle.
- Select a gear and range that will enable you to maintain a speed of 7 to 10 MPH in order to ensure optimal operation. a. Adjust your speed as necessary for cornering, terrain and effective operation.
- Once your operation is finished, stop the tractor on a level surface
- Reduce the tractor’s RPM back to a low idle.
- Set the parking brake.
- Turn off the engine and remove the key.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to control and will have fewer problems.
- Inspect the tool components before each use. Repair or replace damaged or worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
- Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
- Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
- Regularly check the blade for wear and replace if necessary.
- Maintain the tool’s labels and name plates. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for replacements.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
REPLACEMENT PARTS
- Not all product components are available for replacement. The parts breakdown and list provided are to be used as a convenient reference to the location and position of parts
- When ordering parts, you will need the model number, serial number/lot date code, description and reference number.

Cleaning
- Regularly clean off any dirt or grease that may have accumulated on the grader blade.
- Clean oil, dirt and grease from areas where the paint has been word, chipped or scratched.
- Scrape compacted dirt or debris from the blade.
- Rinse and wash the blade with water.
- Prime bare metal surfaces after cleaning and repaint to prevent rust.
Storage
- Store the grader blade when not in use for extended periods of time.
- Before storing, check that the tool is in good working condition.
- Always store ina dry, secure place out of the reach of children.
Removal From Storage
Inspect the grader blade upon removing it from storage to ensure it is in good working condition.
Disposal
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
Troubleshooting
Visit a Princess Auto Ltd. location for a solution if the tool does not function properly or parts are missing. If unable to do so, have a qualified technician service the tool.
