UNPACKING

OPERATION CONNECTING

  1. If possible, ensure that the circuit breakers controlling the power supply are in the of position.

  2. Plug the surge protector’s male connector into the power supply.

  3. Plug your RV’s power cable into the surge protector’s female connector.

  4. Turn any circuit breakers into the ON position.

  5. Check the indicator lights on the surge protector.

    • a. Protection is being provided when the SURGE light is illuminated.
      b. Protection is not being provided when the SURGE light is not illuminated
  6. If the SURGE light is not illuminated, unplug the surge protector and complete steps 1-5.

DISCONNECTING

  1. If possible, turn any circuit breakers controlling the power supply back into the OFF position.
  2. Unplug your RV power cable from the surge protector’s female connector.
  3. Unplug the surge protector’s male connector from the power supply.
  4. Store the surge protector, your RV power cord, and any other involved power cords or electronics appropriately.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

  1. Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to control, and will have fewer problems.
  2. Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
