SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use!
- Read these instructions carefully before using the product.
- Must only be used by adults of sound judgement.
- The pump must never be modified.
- The pump may only be used to pump the following liquids:
- diesel oil
- engine oil
- fuel oil
- It is prohibited to pump any other oils and liquids with this pump.
- Always be careful when connecting the battery. Risk of sparking and fire. Also risk of deadly explosion.
- Do not immerse the pump in liquid.
- Pumped, used oil must be disposed of in compliance with local regulations.
- The pump must not be stored with oil in the ducts.
- The pump must not be used near heat sources, and absolutely not near naked flames. Risk of fire and explosion.
- The pump must not be operated for more than 30 consecutive minutes.
- The pump must only be used for its intended purpose.
- This product must not be used if it is damaged.
- Do not allow children to play with this product.
- Never leave the pump unattended when in operation to ensure that children or animals do not come into contact with it.
- Do not use in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable fumes/gases can occur.
- Store in a dry place when not in use.
- Make sure the work area is well lit.
- Engine oil being pumped should have a temperature of 40-60°C.
- Disconnect the battery before carrying out any maintenance on the pump.
- Only use original spare parts if the pump needs to be repaired.

OPERATION
WARNING! Set the pump switch to “OFF” when connecting the battery clips.
Connection and starting
Irrespective of the type of oil to be pumped, the pump must be started as
follows:
- Turn the power switch to “OFF”.
- First connect the black clip to the battery’s negative terminal.
- Then connect the red clip to the battery’s positive terminal.
- Install the suction hose and pressure hose on the pump; where applicable, also connect the suction probe.
- Position the pressure hose in the vessel in which the oil is to be collected.
- Position the suction hose as shown below.
- Start the pump with the power switch (5).
Engine oil
Draw up engine oil as follows:
- Warm up the engine until the oil reaches 40ºC to 60ºC.
- Remove the dipstick.
- Insert the suction probe into the hole for the dipstick until it reaches the lowest point in the oil pan.
Then start the pump and draw out the oil.
Diesel oil or fuel oil
Position the suction hose at the lowest point in the oil container and start
the pump.
Stopping and disconnecting
Irrespective of the type of oil to be pumped, the pump must be stopped as
follows:
- Stop the pump with the power switch (5).
- Disconnect the battery clips.
- Disconnect the suction hose and pressure hose from the pump; where applicable, also disconnect the suction probe.
- Clean the parts. See “Maintenance”.
MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance with a damp cloth and, if necessary, washing-up liquid. Never use solvents or chemicals. This can damage the appliance.
STORAGE
Never store the pump and its parts with oil in the ducts. Always clean the pump before putting it away.
