Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the MC/AC Cable

  • Before using the MC/AC Cable with the T-Grid Clip, make sure it is properly prepared. Strip off the necessary insulation from the cable ends to expose the conductors.

Step 2: Attaching the T-Grid Clip

  • Take the T-Grid Clip and position it on the desired location of the T-Grid. Ensure that it aligns with the support structure.
  • Use appropriate fasteners (not included) to secure the T-Grid Clip to the T-Grid. Make sure it is tightly and securely attached.

Step 3: Inserting the MC/AC Cable

  • Insert the MC/AC Cable into the T-Grid Clip. The clip should securely hold the cable in place without damaging it.
  • Make sure the cable is properly aligned and centered within the clip for optimal support.

Step 4: Securing the MC/AC Cable

  • If necessary, use additional fasteners (not included) to secure the MC/AC Cable to the support structure. This will provide extra stability and prevent any movement.
  • Ensure that the cable is not under tension or excessively bent. It should have a natural curve without any sharp bends.

Step 5: Testing and Final Checks

Once the MC/AC Cable is securely installed, conduct a thorough visual inspection to ensure proper alignment and support. Test the cable by gently pulling on it to check for any looseness or slippage. If everything is secure, the installation is complete.

Important Notes

  • Always follow nVent’s product instruction sheets and training materials for installation and usage.
