B Product usage

Assembly
  1. Turn the heater upside down and place it on a protected surface to avoid scratching it.
  2. Remove the 2 screws from the underside of the heater.
  3. Align the buckles on the support feet with the mounting holes and push the feet sideways until they are aligned with the screw holes in the heater.
  4. Insert the screws through the holes of the support feet and tighten them until they are securely fastened in place.
  5. After completing the installation, turn the heater upright.
Before using the product

| WARNING!

  • Correctly connect the unit and do not leave it within the reach of unsupervised children.
  • It is normal for heaters to emit an odour and smoke when they are turned on for the first time or have not been used for a certain period of time. This will disappear after a short while.
  • The heater must always be placed in an upright position on a horizontal surface.
    If the heater tips over, turn it upright immediately.

  • Check that the power cord is intact.

  • The power supply used by this heater is 220-240V~. Make sure the rated current of the power socket meets the requirements and has a safety grounding device, or else the socket should be replaced.

  • Place the heater on a stable, heat-resistant and non-combustible horizontal surface that is at least 30 cm (sides and rear) and 50 cm (front) clear of objects such as walls, furniture and curtains.

  • Never place the heater below electrical sockets.

  • The heater is suitable for use in a 10-15 m² space, such as a living room or office.

  • Do not use the heater in a bathroom, or near to a swimming pool or other body of water.
    The heater must never become wet. Do not use the heater in wet or humid conditions.

  • Make sure the air inlets are unobstructed. Do not cover the heater’s air inlet or outlet vents/grilles.

Operation

Power on the heater
Press the power button on the control panel or on the remote control unit to power on the heater.

Power off the heater

  1. Press the power button on the control panel or on the remote control unit to power off the heater.
  2. Unplug the power plug and put it away after it has cooled down.

| Notes:

  • After pressing the power button to power off the heater, the heater continues to blow air for 30 seconds, and the display panel shows 30 29 28 … 0 countdown. When the countdown is over, the heater enters Standby mode.
  • When you use the product for the first time or need to re-plug the power, check whether the plug and socket fit well.
    Checking method: Insert the power plug into the socket and power on the heater. After about half an hour, power it off and unplug it. Check whether the pins of the plug are hot to your hands. If the pins are hot (over 50°C), you must replace the socket to avoid overheating of the socket due to poor contact. This may burn the plug and even cause a fire.

| Screen-off function

  • The Screen-off function is activated by default.
  • Press and hold and   together for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the Screen-off function.
  • When in Screen-off mode, press any button (except ) to wake up the control panel display. If there is no operation for 60 seconds, the display returns to Screen-off mode.

Tip-over sensor
The heater has a safety sensor that will enter Standby mode automatically when it tips over.
If the heater tips over, place the heater in upright position and press to turn it back on.

Control panel display error code reference

Panel display Description of abnormal state
E1 Displayed when the temperature sensor is in open circuit.
E2 Displayed when the temperature sensor is in short circuit.
FF High temperature alarm fault code displayed when the ambient temperature

exceeds 50°C.

Remote control unit
The remote control unit can be used within 5 metres (with no obstructions) of the heater.
Aim the remote control unit at the control panel of the main unit.

  • When in On mode, press to enter timer setting mode, then press or to set or change the timer for scheduled standby time.
  • When in Standby mode, press to enter timer setting mode, then press or to set or change the timer for scheduled On time.
  • If the scheduled standby or scheduled on timer is set successfully, you can reset the timer by pressing this button, and when the displayed timer blinks, press the button to reset the timer to 0 hour.

  • Press to increase the temperature setting.
  • When in timer setting mode, each press increases the timer in one-hour intervals from 0 hour to 24 hours.

  • Press to decrease the temperature setting
  • When in timer setting mode, each press decreases the timer in one-hour intervals from 24 hours to 0 hour.

  • on the remote control unit and on the heater’s control panel are mode buttons.
  • This is a universal remote control, and the functions of are not applicable to this product.
  • The remote control unit only supports single-key operation. Therefore, you can only turn on or off the screen-off function using the heater’s control panel.

| WARNING!

  • Before cleaning the product, always turn off and unplug the heater and allow it to cool down sufficiently.
  • Do not use flammable or abrasive detergents such as benzene or white spirit to clean the heater.
  • Never immerse the heater, power cable or plug in water.

  • Do not rinse the product directly with water. Clean the exterior with a damp, soft cloth containing a little neutral detergent, and then wipe it dry. Do not use solvents such as gasoline.
    Thoroughly dry the product before using it again.

  • Avoid bumping or scratching the product in order to avoid damaging to the surface coating and rusting.

  • After cleaning and maintenance, wait until the product is sufficiently dry before powering on or storing it.

Storage
  • If you do not plan on using the product for a long period of time, we recommend that you remove the feet and store it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, excessive dust and dirt.
  • Always unplug the unit from the mains before storing it. Wait until the product has cooled down before storing it.
  • Store the product in a fresh, dry and dust-free place, out of the reach of children and pets.
