INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR 5”, 8” and 12”

BEFORE YOU START:
- Please check local electrical codes before beginning
- Turn the power off before installing
- Make sure to use properly rated wire
GEOTASK CAN BE MOUNTED ON ANY SURFACE WHERE A JUNCTION BOX OR PANCAKE BOX (SEE COMPATIBLE JUNCTION BOXES BELOW) IS PRESENT. THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ORIENTED TOWARD A CEILING INSTALLATION. WALL INSTALLATION IS THE SAME, JUST NOT FACING DOWN AS SHOWN IN THE DIAGRAMS.
DO NOT INSTALL IN AN APPLICATION THAT IS OUTSIDE OF THE PRODUCTS LISTED AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AND IN AN AREA THAT IS NOT EASILY ACCESSED FOR SERVICE REQUIREMENTS.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION, install a mounting plate onto the electrical junction box (by others) with mounting screws.
Make sure screws are driven in fully (1). NOTE: For installation into the mud ring, use the second set of screw holes in the mounting plate. -
SECURE FIXTURE to the mounting bracket with the safety cable. Let the fixture hang while you wire it to the house current (2).

WIRE FIXTURE TO HOUSE CURRENT following example shown (3).

SELECT COLOR TEMPERATURE with a switch located on the mounting side of the fixture (4). 5. INSTALL FIXTURE onto the mounting bracket by pushing the round mounting collar up against the mounting plate, and twisting so that the mounting screws are captured and the fixture is locked in position (5).

TO MAINTAIN WET LISTING fixture must be sealed in caulk. Requires standard or deep J-Box for installation. Square or round mud rings are not compatible. Electrical Junction Box (by others) 1 2 Mounting plate Mounting screws Safety cable 4 2700K 3000K 4000K
