    Mounting & connecting

  2. Power supply connector
Use only the supplied power adapter!

  3. Configuration interface
Configuring the device via the serial interface requires a serial configuration cable (available as an accessory).

  4. Reset button
Pressed up to 5 seconds: device restart
Pressed until first flashing up of all LEDs: configuration reset and device restart.

  5. Ethernet interface
Use the enclosed Ethernet cable to connect the interface ETH 1 to a PC or a LAN switch.

  6. SIM card slot
Slide the SIM card into the slot using the marker to ensure that the card is the right way round.
Ensure that the SIM card clicks into place on insertion. To remove the card from the device again, press the card lightly into the device. Let go to release the SIM card from the slot.

Before initial startup, please make sure to take notice of the information regarding the intended use in the enclosed installation guide!

Operate the device only with a professionally installed power supply at a nearby power socket that is freely accessible at all times.

Antennas may only be attached or replaced when the device is switched off. Mounting or dismounting while the device is switched on may destroy the 4G module!

The SIM card may only be inserted or removed when the device is switched off. Inserting or removing while the device is switched on may destroy the 4G module!

Please observe the following when setting up the device

  • The mains plug of the device must be freely accessible.
  • When setting up on the table, glue on rubber feet.
  • Do not rest any objects on top of the device and do not stack multiple devices.
  • Keep all ventilation slots of the device clear of obstruction.
  • In case of wall mounting, use the drilling template as supplied.
  • Rack installation with the optional LANCOM Rack Mount (separately available)
  • When working with separately purchased antennas, please ensure you do not exceed the maximum permissible transmission power. The system operator is responsible for compliance with the limit values.
