Product Usage Instructions

What’s Included
The Shortbed TrayTM comes with the necessary components for installation. Ensure all parts are included before proceeding.

Weight Limit
It is important to note the weight limit of the Shortbed TrayTM. When riding off-road, reduce the maximum load by about 50% to ensure safety, especially on unpaved roads. Refer to the ‘Intended Use’ section in your bike’s QuickStart Guide for more details on suitable riding terrains.

Safety

• Do not use the Shortbed Tray to move your bike.
• Place loads evenly and as central on the Tray as possible.
• Secure all cargo before riding.
• Ensure all straps are tied down, and loose items are secured.
• Check that all accessories are correctly installed and securely fastened before riding.
• Note that your bike’s behavior may differ when carrying cargo.

Installation

1. Affix Rubber Pads:
   Clean the metal surface with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and oil. Peel off the back of the sticker and affix it to the locations shown in the diagram provided.
   Rubber Pad Placement:

   • Inside Tray: Place rubber pads as indicated
   • Outside Tray: Affix rubber pads as directed

2. Assembly Sequence:
   Follow the assembly sequence below:

   • Bolt – Washer – Shortbed Tray – Plastic Washer – Rack Washer – Nut
     To mount parallel on the GSD or Orox:

   • Tighten bolts to a torque of 9 Nm – 10 Nm.

   • Add anti-seize lubricant to the bolt tips before securing the nuts. If not available, use standard lubricant to reduce friction and prevent thread galling.

To mount perpendicular to the GSD, HSD, Orox, Quick Haul, or Short Haul:

Weight Limit

• 35 kg (77 lb) max load on paved roads.
• 17 kg (37 lb) max load on graded and maintained gravel roads.*
• Riding off-road poses unique challenges. Reduce the max load by approximately 50% if riding on unpaved roads to ensure safety. Refer to the ‘Intended Use’ section in your bike’s QuickStart Guide to learn more about suitable riding terrains.

Installation

Tools required (not included)

• 10 mm Wrench
• 4 mm Allen Wrench

Affix Rubber Pads
Clean metal surface with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt and oil. Peel off back of sticker and affix to the locations shown in the diagram below.

Assembly sequence

• Tighten Bolts to a torque of 9 Nm – 10 Nm.
• Add anti-seize lubricant to the tip of the bolts before securing the nuts.
• If anti-seize lubricant is not available, apply any standard lubricant to reduce friction and prevent thread galling.

To mount parallel on the GSD or Orox

To mount perpendicular to the GSD, HSD, Orox, Quick Haul or Short Haul
