USER MANUAL

Dear Customer,
Thank you for purchasing the Neno Aurora reclining rocker. This product is designed for children weighing up to 9kg and those who are unable to sit up independently. Please read the instruction manual before use and keep it in case you need to use it again.

01. WARNINGS

1. Never leave a child unattended.
2. Do not use the product if the child is able to sit up unaided or the child weighs more than 9kg.
3. The product is not intended for prolonged sleep.
4. Never use this product on elevated surfaces such as a table.
5. Always remember to use a security system.
6. To avoid injury, make sure children are at a safe distance when folding and unfolding the product.
7. Do not let children play with the product.
8. Do not move or lift the product if the child is in it.
9. This product is not a replacement for a cot or bed. If your child needs to sleep, move your child to bed.
10. Do not use the product if any component is damaged or missing.
11. Do not use accessories or spare parts other than those approved by the manufacturer.
12. Check that the straps fit properly every time, and also that they are securely fastened when you lay your child down.
13. The power supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
14. Do not use adapters other than those supplied with this product to power the product.
15. Keep children away from the working charger.
16. Regularly check the connection of the cable to the adapter.
17. Regularly check the attachment of the seat cover to the seat frame.
18. Always check all fixings before use and ensure that the components are correctly fitted and aligned.
19. Before activating the rocking function, make sure nothing is standing nearby that could cause a blockage or collision with the product.
20. Also make sure that your child does not have access to objects, walls and other things that they can reach for or push away from. This can cause injury, suffocation and choking.
21. Do not extend or change the charging cable.
22. Do not extend attached toys in any way, and do not hang toys other than those included.
23. Do not leave the product in full sunlight or close to heat sources.
24. Check regularly the condition of seams, material joints, structures, screws. If wear is detected, discontinue use immediately and replace the item with a new one.

RISK OF FALLING AND SUFFOCATION:
ALWAYS use seat belts. Fit them so that they fit tightly.
STOP using the product when the infant tries to get out of the product (around 6 months).
Stay nearby and watch the infant while using the product. This product is not safe for unsupervised use or unattended sleeping.

03. MOUNTING OF THE SEAT FRAME

SEE FIG. A

1. Press in the metal clips located at the ends of the top of the seat frame.
2. Insert the top part of the seat frame into the bottom part of the seat frame. Make sure the clamps bounce – you will hear a ‘click’ when the parts are correctly assembled.

04. PRODUCT INSTALLATION

1. Place the base parts on a flat surface. Connect the power cables together. Then insert the left and right tubes into the main part of the base.
Carefully tighten the fixing screws. SEE FIG. B. 1.
2. Place the seat frame into the base of the rocker. Make sure that the two components are correctly connected. SEE FIG. B. 2.

PRODUCT DISASSEMBLING

Pull the metal clamp located at the back of the main part of the rocker base and pull out the seat. SEE FIG. B. 3.

05. FITTING/REMOVING THE SEAT COVER AND CUSHION

1. To remove the cover, unfasten the 2 snaps on the bottom of the rocker and then slide it off the frame.
2. To fit the cover, place it over the frame, taking into account where the top is, and then carefully fasten the 2 snaps. Make sure they are fastened securely. SEE FIG. C. 1.
3. To remove the cushion, unfasten the velcro and pull the retaining strap through the handle attached to the seat cover.
4. To put the cushion on, put the attachment strap through the handle and then fasten the velcro on the strap. SEE FIG. C. 2.

06. CANOPY WITH TOYS

1. Attach the toys to the canopy by putting the attachment strap from the toy through the attachment bracket, which is located near the connection between the fabric and the mesh. Once you have put the strap through, fasten the velcro. Proceed in this way for both toys. SEE FIG. D. 1.
2. Attach the side canopy mount to the seat frame at the point as shown in the picture, then push the mount into the seat frame so that the tube from the seat frame fits into the space in the canopy mount. The top of the canopy should overlap the top of the seat frame. Then fasten the 2 latches located at the attachment, on both sides of the frame. SEE FIG. D. 2.

07. SEAT BELTS

1. Place the child in the rocker and position so that the wide centre strap is between the child’s legs. SEE FIG. E. 1.
2. Then place the top straps over your child’s shoulders, remembering to adjust them properly, evenly on both sides. Clip the side straps into the holes in the top straps. SEE FIG. E. 2.
3. Clip both sides of the interconnected belts into the buckle located in the centre belt. SEE FIGURE E. 3.
4. Make sure the straps fit properly around the child and all attachments are securely clipped in.
5. Fasten with velcro to secure the straps. This is necessary to prevent the child from accessing the buckle. SEE FIG. E. 4.
6. Press the button on the buckle to release the straps. Pull the top and side straps out of the holes. SEE FIG. E. 5.

09. BATTERY INSTALLATION

SEE FIG. G.

1. Unscrew the screw from the battery cover located at the end of the rocker base and remove the cover.
2. Insert 4 AAA batteries.
3. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw securely. Battery operation ranges from approximately 2-6 hours. The operating time depends on the mode used and the load of the rocker.

10. LOCKING AND UNLOCKING ROCKING

1. Slide the button down to lock the rocking option.
2. Lift the button up to unlock.
3. Ensure each time before activating the rocking function that it has been unlocked. Turning on the rocking while in the locked position may damage the product.

11. PANEL DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. Power – switch the product on/off.
2. Music

  • Press the button to start playing the built-in songs.

  • Press again to switch to the next song.

  • Connect via BT on your smartphone to the product named “BT-BABY”. The rocker will make a sound indicating that the connection is correct.
    When connecting via BT, it takes priority over the built-in songs.

  • Press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds to adjust the volume.

  • Press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds to switch off the built-in songs.

3. Rocking levels – press the button to set one of five rocking levels (level one – LED 1; level two – LED 2; level three – LED 3; level four – LEDs 1+3; level five – LEDs 2+3).
4. Adjusting the rocking time – press the button to activate the off function after 8, 15 or 30 minutes of rocking function.

12. CLEANING

1. Clean the base of the rocker and the seat frame with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents for cleaning. Then wipe dry so that no water marks are visible.
2. Clean the seat cover, cushion and canopy with a damp cloth without detergent. No parts may be washed in a washing machine or tumble dried. Do not dry-clean. Leave to dry in the open air.
3. Failure to do so may result in discolouration, distortion and damage to components.

13. TRANSPORT

Remember to transport the rocker only with the base locked, SEE SECTION 10. Never grab the seat parts. Always carry by holding the base of the rocker.
Transporting an unlocked base can cause damage to the mechanism.
