Product Usage Instructions:

1. Download GlocalMe App:

Download the GlocalMe app from the app store on your mobile
device.

2. Create a GlocalMe Account (In App):

Open the app, click on “REGISTER,” and follow the on-screen
instructions to create your GlocalMe account.

3. Link R40 to GlocalMe App:

Turn on the R40 device and connect it to the GlocalMe app using
the provided credentials.

4. Purchase GlocalMe Data Plans (In App):

Within the app, select and purchase the desired data plan for
your usage needs.

5. Install the Antenna:

Remove the protective cover, plug in the antenna, and adjust its
direction for optimal signal reception.

6. Turn on R40:

Press the power button to turn on the R40 device.

7. Connect to Wi-Fi:

Locate and connect to the provided Wi-Fi network names (SSIDs)
with the corresponding passwords.

8. Connect to LAN (optional):

If desired, connect the R40 device to a LAN network using the
available port.

9. Recommended Placement Angles for LTE External Antennas:

To enhance user experience, position LTE external antennas at
recommended angles for better signal reception.

How To Use A Physical SIM Card:

  1. Insert Mini-SIM2FF into the designated slot.
  2. If the SIM card is PIN-protected, unlock it before use.
  3. Manually set the Access Point Name (APN) if necessary for
    network connectivity.

(R40 is default to run on GlocalMe Cloud SIM services, but it also supports local SIM cards
· Turn Off R40 · Insert the SIM card (see the direction showing at below graphic) · Power on and wait until the 3G/4G light staying on. · When the network is ready for access, connect your computer or smart terminal to the R40 via WiFi setting or Ethernet cable. Type 192.168.169.1 into your web’s browser address bar to access the login page. Enter the username “admin” and password “admin” to access the management page. · ClickNetwork– Mobile Network Settings–Select ModePhysical SIM–ClickConfirmation

Q: The power light doesn’t turn on when you power on the device. A: Please ensure that the power adapter is properly connected and verify that the power button is pressed.
Q: I am unable to find the Wi-Fi network. A: Firstly, check if the Wi-Fi light is on. If it is, verify if the SSID is correct or if it is set to hidden. You can make the necessary changes by logging into the management page. If the power light is on but the Wi-Fi light remains off, kindly contact customer service for further assistance.
Q: How many antennas are required for normal internet access? A: For normal internet access, four antennas are required. Please verify if they are installed correctly.

Q: How can I change the Wi-Fi name and password? A: Follow these steps to change the Wi-Fi name and password: Power on the device and connect your computer or smart terminal to the R40 using Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable. Open a web browser and enter “192.168.169.1” in the address bar. Enter the username “admin” and password “admin” to access the management page. Navigate toNetwork->Wireless 2.4GHz/Wireless 5GHz-> Interface Settings->General Setupand locate the SSID bar. Modify the Wi-Fi name (SSID) accordingly and click “Save.”Proceed toWireless Securityto modify the password and click “Save” to apply the changes.
