Data Usage Protection

To enable Data Usage Protection:

  1. Go to the settings.
  2. Find the option for Data Usage Protection and enable it.

Wi-Fi Hotspot

To connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot:

  1. Search for Wi-Fi networks on your device.
  2. Select the network named GlocalMe_xxxxxx.
  3. Enter the password box when prompted.

Choosing a Frequency Band

To choose a frequency band:

  1. Go to the Wi-Fi settings.
  2. Find the option to select a frequency band.
  3. Choose either 5 GHz for faster speed or 2.4 GHz for XJEFSDPWFSBHF.

SIM Card Manager

To manage your SIM card:

  1. Go to the SIM Card Manager.
  2. Switch to the SIM card if desired.

How To Use GlocalMe Cloud SIM Service?

(Highly Recommended)

  1. Download GlocalMe App
    • Download and install the GlocalMe app on your mobile phone
  2. Create a GlocalMe Account (In-App)
    • Click【Login】【- Register】
    • Follow the steps to register an account
    • (You can register by email or mobile phone number)
    • Note: Screens and settings in this user manual may vary by software version.
  3. Turn On G4 Pro
    • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds (please charge the device for a while if you cannot turn on the new G4Pro)
  4. Link the G4 Pro to the GlocalMe App
    • Open GlocalMe App and click【Device】【- Add a device by QR code】
    • Use the QR code scanner to scan the QR code on G4 Pro’s screen
    • Note: Restart the device if it has been powered on during device linking.
  5. Purchase GlocalMe Data Plans (In-App)
    • Choose the data plans that suit your needs. (You might skip this step if you have ordered a data plan while purchasing the device)
  6. Connect To Wi-Fi
    • Find the Wi-Fi Hotspot name and password on the screen of G4Pro
    • Search the GlocalMe network and connect at the Wi-Fi setting of your mobile device(s)
    • Tips: The initial setup will take a few minutes, please be patient.
  7. Data Flow Protection Reminder
    • Data management Enable this function to prevent massive data usage of:
    • You can set it manually through the settings interface.【 More】–【Data Usage Protection】
    • Automatic app download and update.
    • Automatic sync of cloud apps.
    • If you can’t access the App Store, please turn this function off.
    • 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi

    • You can select 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi
How To Use A Physical SIM Card?

(G4Pro is defaulted to operate in CloudSIM service, it can also support local SIM cards)

  1. Insert A SIM Card
    • Turn off your device open the SIM card tray with a pin and insert the SIM card as shown in the picture below
    • You can insert 1 Nano SIM
  2. Switch to SIM Card Mode
    • After inserting the SIM card, the system will prompt the notice
    • The cloud SIM network will be unavailable once you switch to SIM card
    • You can have manually setup via the setting interface 【More 】-【- SIM Card Manager】
  3. Unlock the SIM Card (If PIN-protected)
    • If the SIM card is PIN protected, please input the PIN on the screen to unlock the SIM card
  4. Set The APN Manually
    • If you still can not connect to the network after the above steps, you must add the APN manually.
    • Click【 More】 –【 SIM card manager】–【 SIM Card Network Settings】–【APN settings】Enter the APN of your SIM card provider according to the instructions and save the setting.

Warning

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) refers to the rate at which the body absorbs RF energy. The SAR limit is 1.6 watts per kilogram in countries that set the limit averaged over 1 gram of tissue and 2.0 watts per kilogram in countries that set the limit averaged over 10 grams of tissue.

FCC Regulatory conformance
