Assembly Steps

1. Attach A to the outlet box using AA and tighten the locking nut.
2. Temporarily place E through B to determine the adjustment needed for B.
3. Adjust chain G to the desired length using pliers and a screwdriver.
4. Feed wires through the designated channels.
5. Connect wires from the fixture to the outlet box wires, ensuring proper colour matching.
6. Attach copper wire to the ground wire.
7. Attach BB to connections using electrical tape.
8. Install light bulbs (not included) – use 60-watt max. standard-base incandescent bulbs or CFL/LED equivalents.

• Some metal parts in the fixture mav have sharp edges. To prevent cuts and scrapes wear gloves when handling the parts.
• Account for small parts and destroy backing material. as these mav be hazardous to children
• Use a flashlight or alternate light source to light the work area during installation.
• Assistance may be required to support the fixture during installation.

CAUTION

• Connect the fixture to supply wires rated for at least 167 F.
• Workable for dimming circuits when using appropriate light bulbs with dimmable functions.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

• turn off the power and remove the existing fixture.
• Unscrew nut D from screw collar loop C. Attach A to the outlet box using AA.
• Use pliers (not included) to tighten the locking nut on B until the locking nut touches A.
• Temporarily place E through B to determine the amount of adjustment necessary for B.
• Unscrew socket ring J from socket on fixture body H.
• Attach shade I over the socket. Secure with socket ring J.
• Unscrew the K/D rings F from chain G. Adjust chain G to the desired length. Spread the chain link using standard pliers (not included) and screwdriver (not included) and twist the chain link in the opposite direction and remove the extra chain lengths
• Weave electrical wires and ground wire up chain G, through nut D, through canopy E, through the screw collar loop C, through threaded tube B, and into an outlet box
• Feed wires. Twist stripped ends of the white, ribbed or tinned wire without writing from the fixture evenly against the white wire from the outlet box. Connect the black, smooth or un-tinned wire with writing from the fixture to the black wire from the outlet box in the same manner. Snip ends. Attach copper wire to ground wire.
• Attach BB to connections with electrical tape (not included).
• Lift E up over C, securing in place with previously removed D.
• Install light bulbs(not included). Use 60-watt max. standard-base incandescent bulbs or CFL/LED equivalents
• The assembly is complete. Turn the power back on.
