Product Usage Instructions
Check Handing of Lock Body
Ensure you have the correct LH/LHR or RH/RHR model for your door.
Install Chassis, Trim, Turnpiece & Cylinder
- Prepare the door according to the provided template.
- Feed the mortise chassis wire into the hole on the inside of the door.
- Gently pull the wire through the hole while inserting the chassis.
- Install the trim following the provided instructions.
Install Reader and Inside Mounting Plate
Follow these steps to install the reader and inside mounting plate
- Attach the reader assembly to the socket.
- Connect the chassis wire as needed.
- Secure the reader and inside mounting plate in place.
Install Battery Pack
- Plug in the battery wire to the control board.
- Mount the battery pack over two studs on the mounting plate.
- Snap the battery pack onto the retainers on the mounting plate.
Install Batteries and Battery Cover
Finalize installation by installing batteries and the battery cover using pan head screws.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
MORTISE LOCK
- CHECK HANDING OF THE LOCK BODY
- If the handling of the lock body is not correct for opening, consult the factory for handling instructions.
- INSTALL CHASSIS, TRIM, TURN PIECE & CYLINDER
- Prepare the door according to the included template.
- Install mortise chassis while feeding chassis wire into the hole on the inside of the door.
- Gently pull the wire through the hole as the chassis is inserted.
- Install trim using the included instructions.
- INSTALL READER AN INSIDE MOUNTING PLATE
- Install reader assembly and inside mounting plate – feed reader wire through the hole in the door and slot under the circuit board.
- Wire harness will land in wire pocket
- Feed chassis wire through the T slot in the mounting plate.
- Secure with (3) M5 x 50 pan head screws (thru bolts).
- Make both wire connections after the reader is secure. Push extra wire into the door cavity.
- INSTALL BATTERY PACK
- Plug the battery wire into the control board.
- Install the battery pack over two studs on the mounting plate.
- Snap the battery pack onto the retainers on the mounting plate.
- INSTALL BATTERIES AND BATTERY COVER
- Install batteries and battery cover with (2) pan head screws.
