The instructions for use must be kept for the entire life of the universal child restraint system.

NOTICE

  1. This car seat provides optimal safety in all installation positions for which it was designed.

  2. This is a Universal booster seat Enhanced Child Restraint System (100-150cm). It is approved according to UN Regulation No. 129, for use in i-Size compatible and universal vehicle seating positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle user’s manual. If in doubt, consult the Universal Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer.

  3. This is an i-Size Universal Enhanced Child Restraint System, it is approved to regulation No. 129 series of amendments, for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not at all, car seats. If in doubt, consult either the Universal Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer.

  4. It should be installed in vehicles in which the vehicle manufacturer’s manual states that child restraint systems rated as Universal i-Size are acceptable for this age group.

  5. The product has been approved pursuant to European regulation ECE R129 and can be used for heights between 100 and 150 cm.

  6. Make sure that the buckle is correctly fastened before starting to drive.

  7. Any straps holding the restraint to the vehice should be tight, that any support-leg should be in contact with the vehicle floor, that any straps or impact shields restraining the child should be adjusted to the child’s body, and that straps should not be twisted.

  8. Ensure that any strap or belt that holds the child is not folded or twisted and remains tightened.

  9. Ensure that the abdominal belt or strap rests as low as possible over the child’s hips, on both sides.

  10. In the event of an accident, even if there are no apparent damages, the seat may be unsafe. The seat should be replaced after being subjected to the sudden and strong stresses associated with an accident.

  11. Instruction illustrations are for informational purposes only. The child restraint system may contain small differences compared to the photographs or images in the instruction manual. These variations do not affect its approval by Regulation ECE R129.

  12. Under no circumstances should the car seat be installed in the car’s passenger seat opposite the direction of travel if there is an active airbag.

  13. Please read the instructions carefully, as incorrect installation could result in serious injury. In this case, the manufacturer shall not be held liable.

  14. Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.

  15. It is dangerous to undertake any changes or additions to the safety seat with approval from the competent authority. It is dangerous to not strictly follow the installation instructions provided by the child car set manufacturer.

  16. Please never use the safety seat without its cover or without the harness protectors.

  17. Make sure to protect the child safety seat from direct sunlight as it could heat up and hurt the child.

  18. The car seat should remain permanently installed in the vehicle, even when the child is not in it. Never leave the child unattended when sitting in the car seat, even when the seat is outside the vehicle.

  19. Make sure that any luggage or objects that could cause injuries in the event of an accident are fastened securely.

  20. The cover of the child restraint system should not be replaced with another, unless recommended by the manufacturer, because it is an integral part of the system for securing children!

  21. It should be installed in cars for which the manufacturer states in its car owner’s manual that the vehicle is suitable for an i-Size Universal Enhanced Child Restraint System for this age range.

  22. Security is only guaranteed if the child restraint is fitted in accordance with these instructions.

  23. The manufacturer guarantees the quality of its products, but not the quality of second-hand products or products of other brands.

  24. Replace child seats or harness accessories that are damaged or have been used incorrectly.

  25. For the i-Size enhanced child restraint system, the user must read the instructions manual of the vehicle’s manufacturer.

  26. Don’t use in forward facing before the child reaches the age of 15 months.

  27. It is important to ensure that any lap strap is worn low down, so that the pelvis is firmly engaged

  28. The instruction must be retained on the child restraint for its life period.

  29. The hard components or plastic parts of safety device for children should be deployed and installed in way that during everyday use of the vehicle not be jammed by the movable seats or doors. Prevent harness/vehide belt from getting trapped between car doors or rubbing against sharp parts of the seat or body.

  30. All belts that fix the restraint system to the vehicle must be tightened, all belts retaining the child must be adjusted according to the child’s body. Twisting of the belts shall not be allowed.

  31. Don’t use another support point of contact except the ones described in the instructions and marked on the child restraint system.

  32. If the child restraint system offers alternative support point of contact and you consider that using that alternative route is not satisfactory, please contact the manufacturer of the child restraint system.

  33. Install the child restraint system at the seating positions in the vehicle categorized as I-size in the vehice owner’s manual by using the primary route of the belt.

  34. Do not use the car seat in the house. It is not designed for home use and should only be used in the vehicle.

  35. Before you set any mobile or adjustable part of the child seat, you need to remove your child from the child seat.

  36. Check regularly the belts for wearing by paying special attention to the fixing points, the safety guards and the adjusting devices.

  37. Do not leave the buckle partially closed, it must be locked when all parts are engaged. You must be able to remove the child from the seat immediately in case of emergency. You have to teach
    the child not to play with the buckle.

  38. Keep the child’s chair at a safe place away from children when not in use. Avoid placing heavy objects on the chair. Prevent contact of your vehicle chair with corrosive substances, for example
    acid from the battery.

NOTICE
Do NOT install in front seats except in these specific cases:kikka boo

  1. When the car does not have back seats.
  2. When all back seats are occupied by children less than or equal to 135 cm tall.
  3. When it is not possible to install all child restraints in the back seats. In seats with: ISOFIX anchorages and Top Tether anchor points and 3-point belt (car’s seat belt).

ATTENTION
The child seat must only be used in this seat IF it has ISOFIX anchorages, top tether points a lap and 3 points belt: diagonal (A) and abdominal (B).

Read the car manual first and check whether the car seat is equipped with ISOFIX attachment fixed anchor points, and check the size of recommended ISOFIX attachment constraints on the system if it is matched our ISOFIX attachment size.

CAR SEAT POSITION NOTICE (Figure 1)
Child safety seat must not be used on the position where an airbag has been activated (airbags can be fatal to children). Please read the instructions carefully to use the child safety seat properly.

INSTALLATION POSITION OF THE I-SIZE BOOSTER SEAT IN VEHICLE (FIGURE 1)
This is an i-Size booster seat Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved according to UN Regulation No. 129/03, for use in,i-Size compatible vehice seating positions ,as defined and approved according to UN Regulations No. 16. According to UN Regulation No. 129/03, this i-Size booster seat is a Universal ISOFIX Child Restraint and should be fitted using the ISOFIX and 3-point seat belt or only 3-point seat belt. To use this enhanced child seat approved to the ECE R129/03 Regulation, your child must meet the following requirements. Forward Facing: Child height 100cm- 150cm If in doubt, consult either the Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer.

THE SUITABLE LOCATION FOR INSTALLATION ON THE CAR IS SHOWN AS FOLLOWS:

  • Safe to install the enhanced child car seat.
  • Not allowed to install the enhanced child car seat.
  • Only with 3-point seat belt and ISOFIX attachments can install in this place.
  • When the front vehicle seat with opened airbag, cannot install in this place.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT FOR THE HEADREST (FIGURE 2)
According to children’s different height, the headrest can be adjusted up and down, totally 12 positions. Adjust the headrest up or down by pulling the headrest adjustment handle and release the handle when the headrest reaches the desired height and you will hear a “click”. Check that the headrest is properly engaged by sliding the headrest down a little.

SECURING YOUR CHILD IN THE I-SIZE BOOSTER SEAT FORWARD FACING: CHILD HEIGHT 100CM-150CM | SECURING YOUR CHILD IN THE I-SIZE BOOSTER SEAT WITH ISOFIX AND 3-POINT SEAT BELT (FIGURES 3-7)

  • Step 1: Place the i-Size booster seat on the car seat forward-facing and press the ISOFIX release button on both sides of the seat and push the ISOFIX connectors forward and make the ISOFIX connectors fully extended. This ensures that both hooks on the ISOFIX connectors are open and ready to use, now the ISOFIX indicator of ISOFIX release button show red color.
  • Step 2: Push the ISOFIX connectors directly into the anchorages until heard an audible sound “dick”. Now the ISOFIX indicator of ISOFIX release button show green color. (Figure 3)
  • Step 3 : Grasp the base to check the seat if it is fastened tightly or shakes. If the seat shakes and the ISOFIX connectors are pulled out, please repeat the above steps and install it again. (Figure 4)
  • Step 4 : Adjust the headrest height according to the height of your child if necessary. Guide the 3-point seat belt on the opposite side of the buckle under the arm rest, thread the belt tongure (including vehicle belt ) and allow it to lock in place. You will hear “click” Make sure that diagonal belt and the lap belt on the buckle side are both under the armrest. Check that the webbing has not become twisted and tighten the seat belt by pulling the diagonal strap upwards Figure 5)
  • Step 5: Guide the diagonal belt into the top belt guide hook under the headrest near to the side of the car seat belt automatic roll-up device. Check the vehicle belt buckle is correctly locked by pulling the seat belt upwards. (Figure 6)
  • Main load point must be up car seat buckle. The satisfactory position of the adult safety-belt buckle relative to the child car seat is as photo. If in doubt about this point, please contact us. (Figure 7)

SECURING YOUR CHILD IN THE I-SIZE BOOSTER SEAT ONLY WITH 3-POINT SEAT BELT (FIGURES 8-14)

Make sure the seat belt has not become twisted. Also check that the cover is not impeding the movement or fit of the seat belt webbing in any way. To disassemble your child and the i-Size booster seat, repeat the above prescribed procedures in reverse order. (Figure 8)

  • Step 1: Place the i-Size booster seat on the vehice’s seat ensuring it is firmly pressed against the car seat backrest. (Figure 9)
  • Step 2: Place your child into the I-size booster seat. Adjust the headrest height according to the opposite side of the buckle under the arm rest,thread the belt tongue (ind. vehicle belt) and allow it to lock in place. You will hear “dick”. Make sure that diagonal belt and the lap belt on the buckle side are both under the armrest. Check that the webbing has not become twisted and tighten the seat belt by pulling the diagonal strap upwards. (Figure 10)
  • Step 3 : Guide the diagonal belt into the top belt guide hook under the headrest near to the side of the car seat belt automatic roll-up device. Check the vehicle belt buckle is correctly locked by pulling the seat belt upwards. (Figure 11)
  • Step 4: Check that the diagonal belt and lap belt have not become twisted and also check that the cover is not impeding the movement in any way. (Figure 12) Main load point must be up car seat buckle. The satisfactory position of the adult safety-belt buckle relative to the child car seat is as photo. If in doubt about this point, please contact us . (Figure 13)
  • Make sure the seat belt has not become twisted. Also check that the cover is not impeding the movement or fit of the seat belt webbing in any way.
  • To disassemble your child and the i-Size booster seat, repeat the above prescribed procedures in reverse order. (Figure 14)

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • In the daily using, it is necessary to regularly check the child safety seat,
  • In case of accident, the safety seat must be replaced.
  • When the car seat is not in use, the child safety seat should be placed in a dry and ventilated place to avoid damp and mildew.
  • If there is dust on the surface of the child safety seat, we can use a damp sponge to wipe and ventilate it to dry.
  • If food or drink drops onto the seat belt by accident, pls remove the seat belt and rinse thoroughly with warm water and ventilate it to dry.
  • To clean the entire seat cover, please refer to the washing instructions.
  • Slight fading may occur during the first washing, which it is a normal situation.
