SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- CAUTION: Carefully read the instruction manual in full before using the appliance and store the manual in a safe place for future reference. Only use this appliance for the purposes described in the instruction manual.
- Connect the appliance only to AC power with a mains voltage corresponding to the information on the appliance information plate.
- Never bend the power cord or allow it to run across hot surfaces.
- Fully unwind the cord when using the appliance, to prevent it from overheating.
- Never place the appliance near other appliances that give off heat, such as ovens, gas cookers, hotplates, etc.
- Keep the appliance away from walls and heat-sensitive or flammable objects such as curtains, kitchen towels, etc.
- Never place anything on top of the appliance.
- Never cover the air inlets and outlets of the appliance.
- Do not insert anything in the openings of the appliance.
- This appliance should only be used with the provided cooling elements.
- Always make sure the appliance is placed on an even, flat surface. The surface should never be sloped.
- Only use the appliance indoors.
- Do not leave the appliance unsupervised while it is operating.
- Make sure the appliance is switched off, before moving it.
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, cable or appliance has been damaged or if it no longer works properly. Consult your retailer or an authorized service agent.
- If the cord of the appliance is damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service agent to prevent damage or serious injury.
- Never replace the plug or cord yourself. Repairs of electrical appliances should only be carried out by qualified personnel. Improper repairs can expose the user to serious risks.
- Never use the appliance with parts that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer.
- Do not pull the cord and/or appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
- Never touch the appliance with wet hands.
- Never connect the appliance to an external timer or a separate remote control system to avoid hazardous situations.
- Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children. Children cannot see the dangers associated with handling electrical appliances. Never allow children to operate electrical appliances without supervision.
- Children should not play with the appliance.
- The appliance may be used by any individual, provided they use the appliance under supervision or have been instructed about its safe use and understand the hazards involved.
- Always fully switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not being used or is being cleaned.
- Extension cords may only be used if the mains voltage (see the information plate) and capacity are identical to or higher than that of the appliance. Always use an approved extension cord.
- Never immerse the device, cable, or plug in water.
- This device is intended for home use or similar environments only.
- If the appliance is not used as intended, no compensation can be claimed in the event of defects or accidents and the warranty will be voided.
- The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to product design and technical specifications without prior notice unless these changes significantly affect the performance and safety of the products.
- The parts described/illustrated in the pages of the manual that you hold in your hands may also concern other models of the manufacturer’s product line with similar features and may not be included in the product you just acquired.
- To ensure the safety and reliability of the product and the warranty validity, all repair, inspection, repair, or replacement work, including maintenance and special adjustments, must only be carried out by technicians of the authorized service department of the manufacturer.
- Always use the product with the supplied equipment. Operation of the product with non-provided equipment may cause malfunctions or even serious injury or death.
- The manufacturer and the importer shall not be liable for injuries and damages resulting from the use of non-conforming equipment.
BEFORE OPERATING
Follow these instructions when using the appliance for the first time:
- Carefully unpack the air cooler and all accessories and remove all packaging material and any promotional stickers.
- Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of the reach of children.
- After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport.
- Place the appliance on a sturdy, level surface and make sure there is enough space all around for sufficient ventilation.
- Check that all listed accessories are included.
- Clean the air cooler with a slightly damp cloth.
Before plugging in the appliance check the following:
- The connection voltage corresponds to that indicated on the information plate.
- The socket and cable are suitable for the appliance.
- The cable plug fits into the socket.
- The appliance is placed on a clean, flat surface.
- The mobile air cooler must be placed on a flat surface with sufficient space around it. Do not block air inlets and outlets and ensure a free space of at least 30 cm around the appliance.
OPERATION
- The air cooler has three modes: cooling, ventilation, and humidification
- It can be operated via the control panel on the appliance or with the provided remote control.
- Choose a location near an electrical outlet.
- Insert the plug into the electrical outlet.
- The device will emit a short beeping sound.
- The On/Off indicator light will light up. The device is now in standby mode.
Ventilation
- The ventilation function can be set to different speeds.
- Switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF key.
- The indicator light for the lowest speed lights up.
- Change the ventilation speed with each press of the SPEED button: low, medium, or high.
Cooling
- The device can cool the airflow by adding cold water to the water tank. Create extra cold air by placing a cooling element in the water tank, such as an ice pack. (The ice pack is included.)
- Caution: Use this function only when the water tank is supplied with fresh cold water.
- Turn the lock lever of the tank to a horizontal position and carefully pull the water tank out of the appliance to fill it.
- Fill the water tank with fresh cold water and make sure that the water level in the tank does not exceed the maximum level (MAX).
- If you place a frozen cooling element in the water tank, make sure the water lever does not exceed the maximum level.
- Place the water tank back in its original position and turn the lock lever to the vertical position.
- Switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF key.
- The indicator light for the lowest speed lights up
- Press the mode key COOLER/HUMIDIFY once. The indicator light COOLER/HUMIDIFY lights up red.
- Change the ventilation speed with each press of the button SPEED: low, medium, or high.
- CAUTION: Always use fresh cold water.
- Make sure the water in the water tank does not fall below the minimum level (MIN) when using the cooling or air humidification mode.
INDICATOR LIGHTS
WATER TANK
Humidification
- The humidification mode is used to increase moisture levels in the air (humidity). The ideal indoor humidity range is between 40 and 60%.
- If the air humidity in your space is lower, use the appliance with the humidification function.
- Caution: Use this function only when the water tank is supplied with fresh cold water.
- Turn the lock lever of the tank to a horizontal position and carefully pull the water tank out of the appliance to fill it.
- Fill the water tank with fresh cold water and make sure that the water level in the water tank does not exceed the maximum level (MАХ).
- Place the water tank back in its original position and turn the lock lever to the vertical position.
- Switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF key.
- The indicator light for the lowest speed lights up.
- Press the mode key COOLER/HUMIDIFY twice. The indicator light COOLER/HUMIDIFY lights up blue.
- The speed of ventilation is always at the lowest setting and cannot be changed while using this mode.
- CAUTION: Always use fresh cold water.
- Make sure the water in the water tank does not fall below the minimum level (MIN) when using the cooling or air humidification mode.
Swing Mode
- Through the Swing function, you can have the louvers swing automatically in a left-to-right motion for better air displacement.
- Turn the appliance on in the desired mode (cooling, ventilation, or humidification).
- Press the swing button and the blades will start to move continuously in a left-to-right motion. The vertical airflow can be adjusted manually.
Timer
- The timer function can be used to switch off the appliance automatically at a required time within the range of 30 minutes to 7.5 hours.
- Press the timer key to start the timer.
- The time increases by 30 minutes each time you press this button, up to a maximum of 7.5 hours. For example, to set the air cooler for 5.5 hours, you must press down this key until the indicator lights for 0.5h, 1h, and 4h all light up.
- All indicator lights switch off when the entire program has been completed.
- If you want to stop the timer mode or set a new time, you must repeatedly press the timer key until all indicator lights are off.
MAINTENANCE
- CAUTION: Always switch off the appliance with the ON/OFF button and remove the plug from the socket before performing any maintenance task.
Cleaning the exterior
- Clean the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth or sponge.
- If necessary, you can use a mild all-purpose cleaner. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
- Dry the exterior of the appliance well.
- Caution: Never submerge the appliance, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning the air filter
- The air filter of the appliance can get clogged with dust and dirt. You should clean the air filter regularly to keep the air cooler working as well as possible.
- Unscrew the air filter at the rear of the appliance and remove it.
- Clean the air filter with a mild detergent in lukewarm water (approx. 40°C).
- Properly rinse the filter with clean water and allow it to air dry. Do not place the air filter in the sun or use any heating methods to dry it.
- Place the air filter back in the appliance. Check that it is fully dry, before using the air cooler again.
Cleaning the ventilation grilles
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean the ventilation grilles.
Cleaning the water filter
- Remove the water filter from the appliance when removing the air filter.
- Clean it with clean water and a soft brush and then carefully place it back in the holder.
- Do not use detergents, as they can affect its quality.
Cleaning the water tank
- Remove the water tank from the appliance and carefully disconnect the pump.
- Drain any water that is still in the water tank and clean the tank with a soft detergent and warm water.
- Properly rinse with clean water and dry.
- Fasten the pump in the holder again and place the water tank back in the appliance.
ENVIRONMENTAL DISPOSAL
- To avoid transportation damages, the device has to be delivered in solid packaging. Packaging is made of recyclable materials and can be disposed of accordingly.
- The device’s plastic components are marked according to their material, which makes it possible to remove environmentally friendly and differentiated because of available collection facilities.
Only for EU countries
- Do not dispose of electric devices together with household waste material!
- In observance of European Directive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation under national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility.
WARRANTY
The electrical appliances have been manufactured according to strict standards, set by our company, which are aligned with the respective European quality standards. The electrical appliances of our company are provided with a warranty period of 24 months for non-professional use, and 12 months for professional use. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the product. Proof of the warranty right is the purchase document of the appliance (retail receipt or invoice). Under no circumstances shall the company cover the relevant cost of spare parts and respective required working hours unless a copy of the purchase document is presented. In case the repair has to be done by our service department the cost of transport (to and from) is borne by the sender (client). The electrical appliances must be sent for repair to the company or to an authorized workshop in the appropriate way and means of transport.
WARRANTY EXEMPTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS:
- Spare parts that wear out naturally as a consequence of being used (brushes, cables, switches, chokes, etc.).
- Electrical appliances were damaged as a result of non-compliance with the instructions of the manufacturer.
- Electrical appliances are poorly maintained.
- Electrical appliances are given to third parties free of charge.
- Damage due to an electrical connection at a voltage other than that indicated on the appliance plate.
- Connect to a non-earthed power supply.
- Change in current voltage.
- Damage resulting from the use of salty water.
- Damage or malfunction results in ng from improper cleaning procedure of the appliance.
- Contact of the electrical appliance with chemicals, or damage as a result of moisture or corrosion.
- Electrical appliances that have been modified or opened by unauthorized personnel.
- Electrical appliances used for rent.
- The warranty covers only the free-of-charge replacement of the component that presents a manufacturing defect or material failure. In case of a lack of a specific spare part, the company reserves the right to replace the electrical appliance with another corresponding model. After all warranty procedures have been concluded, the warranty period of the electrical appliance shall not be extended or renewed.
- The spare parts or electrical appliances that are replaced remain in the possession of our company.
- Requirements, other than those mentioned in this warranty form, regarding the repair of electrical appliances or damage thereof, do not apply. Greek law and rela ve regulations apply to this warranty.
- This appliance is a quality product. It was designed in compliance with current technical standards and made carefully using normal, good-quality materials.
- The warranty period is 24 months for non-professional use and 12 months for professional use and commences on the date of purchase, which can be verified by the receipt, invoice, or delivery note.
- During this warranty period all functional errors, which, despite the careful treatment described in our operating manual, are verifiably due to material flaws, will be rectified by our after-sales service staff.
- The warranty takes the form that defective parts will be repaired or replaced with perfect parts free of charge at our discretion. Replaced parts will become our property. Repair work or the replacement of individual parts will not extend the warranty period nor will it result in a new warranty period being commenced for the appliance. No separate warranty period will commence for spare parts that may be ted.
- We cannot offer a warranty for damage and defects on appliances or their parts caused by the use of excessive force, improper treatment, and servicing. This also applies to failures to comply with the operating manual and the installation of spare and accessory parts that are not included in our range of products. In the event of interference with modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons, the warranty will be rendered void. Damages that are attributable to improper handling, overloading, or natural wear and tear are excluded from the guarantee. Damages caused by the manufacturer or by a material defect will be corrected at no charge by repair or by providing spare parts.
- The prerequisite is that the equipment is handed over assembled, and complete with the proof of sale and guarantee. For a guarantee claim, only use the original packaging.
- That way, we can guarantee quick and smooth guarantee processing. Please send us the appliances post-paid or request a Freeway sticker. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept appliances that are not postpaid.
- The warranty does not cover parts that are subject to natural wear and tear. If you wish to make a warranty claim, report faults, or order spare parts or accessories, please contact the aft-sales center: Subject to change without prior notice.
