Product Usage Instructions
Setting Up the MKS RLSS-N Metal Circular Saw
- Place the saw on a stable surface with sufficient space around it.
- Ensure the power source matches the saw’s requirements.
- Adjust the gear head to the desired angle using the quick-action clamp.
Operating the Saw
- Securely clamp the workpiece using the double quick-action vice.
- Adjust the cutting depth as needed using the depth stop.
- Start the saw and guide it through the material with a steady motion.
Safety Precautions
- Always wear appropriate safety gear, such as goggles and gloves.
- Keep hands and loose clothing away from the cutting area.
- Use the emergency stop button if needed.
FAQ
- Q: What are the possible causes of zero voltage tripping?
- A: Zero voltage tripping can occur due to mains power failure, tripping of fuses or breakers, pressing the emergency stop button, start button issues, or cable breaks.
- Q: What are some common applications of the MKS RLSS-N metal circular saw?
- A: The saw is commonly used in metal construction, mechanical engineering, forging, pipeline construction, and more.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
Ingenious concept for flexible production
MKS RLSS-N metal circular saws are an ideal solution for variable single or
small series cutting of bar stock. The machines offer two-speed levels for
hard and soft materials. The gear head can be adjusted to a new mitre angle
within seconds – thanks to a central machine mounting with a quick-action
angle clamp.
Smooth, virtually burr-free cutting
The precisely mounted drive axle ensures the exact concentricity of the saw
blade and a smooth cutting pattern. The workpiece is clamped on both sides of
the interface with the double quick-action vice and cut with virtually no
burrs.
Tailor-made sizes
MKS RLSS-N metal circular saws are available in three sizes for a cutting area
of 95×55 mm, 100×70 mm or 115×70 mm. Especially interesting: SUPER SET
PROMOTION.
TECHNICAL INFO – Zero voltage release
The zero voltage trip of a machine is a safety mechanism. It prevents
uncontrolled restarting of the machine drive when the power returns, e.g.
after a power failure.
If the voltage drops, the start button is automatically deactivated. It must
be pressed again to continue operating when the power has been restored.
Zero voltage tripping – possible causes:
- Mains power failure or shutdown
- Tripping of an upstream mains fuse
- Tripping of a motor circuit breaker
- Emergency stop button pressed
- Start button defective
- Cable break
