Safety Instructions

1. Use safety precautions while working with scissors or sharp knives.
2. Finish all connections on the flat cable and quick connectors before connecting to the device or power line.
3. Recommended indoor use only.

Installation Steps

1. Ensure full access to the installation location and clear any obstructions.
2. Start at one end of the strip, remove the adhesive paper, and apply the flat wire to the surface.
3. Install quick connector adapters at each end (P/N: VGW2320 required).
4. Open the quick connector adapter door, place the flat cable on the contacts, and ensure proper contact.
5. Close the door until the retention tab clicks.
6. Secure to the surface using double-sided tape if desired.
7. Repeat steps for the other end of the strip.
8. Prime or paint the flat wire for concealment if needed.
9. For changing trajectory or union, use a 90-degree quick connector adapter (P/N: VGW2390) following similar steps.

Only use this flat cable in low-voltage electrical connections such as with LED lighting, doorbells, security cameras and speakers. Never exceed the maximum voltage rating value of 36V.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Use safety precautions while working with scissors or sharp knives.
• Make sure to first finish all connections on the flat cable, quick connectors, etc. before connecting the line to the device or power line.
• Although this product may work well in places such as a porch or patio we recommend its use indoor only.

INSTALLATION

1. Ensure full access to the location where you are planning to install the flat cable, make sure there are no furniture or other objects that will obstruct the installation area.
2. Starting with one end of the strip, remove the adhesive paper (bottom layer) and start applying the flat wire to the surface where it is going to be installed. Images 1 and 2
3. Once you have the strip installed you can proceed to install the terminals.  Two quick connector adapters are needed, one for each end (not supplied, P/N: VGW2320).
4. Open the quick connector adapter door that is on the opposite side of the pre-installed wire terminals and place the flat cable centered on top of the two contacts. The flat cable will go inside the adapter about 5/8″. Before closing the door make sure that the teeth on the adapter are making contact with the flat cable’s conductors. Images 3 and 4
5. With slight force, close the door until the side retention tab clicks. Image 5
6. You may choose to secure it to the installation surface using double-sided tape (not supplied). Image 6
7. Repeat above steps on the other end of the strip.
8. You can proceed to prime or paint the flat wire for maximum concealment. Image 7
9. A 90-degree quick connector adapter (not supplied, P/N: VGW2390) can be used to change the strip’s trajectory or as a union. If using one, follow the installation procedure described above for P/N: VGW2320, the only difference is that now you must insert two flat cables on the quick connector adapter, one on each end.
