WARNING

  1. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  2. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
  3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been supervised or instructed in how to use the appliance safely and they understand the hazards involved. Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  4. When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
  5. Keep electrical appliances out of the reach of children or infirm persons. Do not let them use the appliance without supervision.
  6. When the fan has been assembled, the rotor blade guard must not be removed again.
    • Unplug the fan before cleaning it.
    • Do not remove or open the rotor guard to clean the rotor blades.
    • Wipe the fan enclosure and rotor blade guard with a slightly damp cloth.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the guard when the fan is running.
  2. Unplug the fan before moving it from one location to another.
  3. Make sure the fan is on a stable surface when it is running, to avoid overturning.
  4. DO NOT place the fan by an open window, as rain may create an electrical hazard.
  5. For household use only.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Take the fan body and the other parts out of the box. Join the front base to the rear base as shown. (See Fig. 1)
  2. Remove the plastic nut from the fan body.
  3. Feed the power cord through the opening, then insert the fan body into the base. (See Fig. 3.)
  4. Fix the fan body to the base using the plastic nut. (See Fig. 2)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

a. POWER

  1. “ “ON/OFF BUTTON
    The “ON” button is used to switch on the fan. Press the “OFF” button to turn off the fan.

  2. “ SPEED BUTTON
    When the fan is running, press this button repeatedly to cycle through the speed settings 1-2-3.

  3. MODE BUTTON
    Press this button to select the mode. The sequence is normal, natural, and sleep when this button is pressed repeatedly or continuously. The light indicates the selected mode.

  4. “ OSC/LOUVER BUTTON
    When the fan is running, press this button to select oscillation mode. The lights on the display indicate fan oscillation mode.

  5. “ TIMER BUTTON
    Press the timer button repeatedly to set the running time for the fan Increase in increments up to 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 hours.

BATTERIES
(batteries not included)

  1. Slide the cover off the battery compartment.
  2. Insert the batteries, making sure they are oriented as shown in Fig.5.
  3. Refit the battery cover.

NOTES: Use size “AAA” manganese or alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

BATTERY WARNING AS BELOW

  1. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, as batteries may explode or leak.
  2. Do not mix old and new batteries.
  3. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

REMOTE CONTROLLER OPERATION
Point the remote controller at the sensor on the body of the fan and press the desired button. The remote controller will work at distances of up to roughly five metres and an angle of 30 degrees between the right and left of the sensor. The batteries must be removed from the remote controller before it is disposed of and they must be disposed of safely.

MOTOR THERMAL PROTECTION
The windings of the motor have a thermal fuse that burns out and turns off the fan if the motor overheats. This is to prevent deformation or burning of the plastic parts of the fan if the motor over- heats for some reason.
Buttons on fan body/ Panel indication (Fig. 6)
The buttons on the body such as ON/OFF, SPEED, MODE, TIMER, and OSCILLATION have the same functions as the corresponding buttons on the remote controller.

FAN SETTINGS

  • Normal: the fan runs constantly at the set speed
  • Natural: the fan speed varies, to simulate a natural breeze
  • Sleep: the fan runs more quietly

MAINTENANCE

The fan requires little maintenance. Do not try to fix it yourself. Contact a qualified service technician if service is needed.

  1. Unplug the fan before cleaning and assembly
  2. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep the vents at the rear of the motor free from dust. Do not disassemble the fan to remove dust.
  3. Wipe the exterior parts with a soft cloth moistened with mild detergent.
  4. Do not use any abrasive detergent or solvents, to avoid scratching the surface. Do not use any of the following as a cleaner: petrol, thinner or other solvents.
  5. Do not allow water or anu other liquid into the motor housing or interior parts.

CLEANING

  1. Make sure you unplug the fan from the electrical supply before cleaning.
  2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. Thoroughly remove soap film with a dry cloth.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

This product must not de disposed of together with domestic waste. This product must De disposed of at an authorized site for recycling electrical and electronic appliances. By collecting and recycling waste, you help save natural resources, and make sure the product is disposed of in an environmentally friendly and healthy way. Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste; use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
