Product Usage Instructions
Before Beginning Your Installation:
Read through the entire instruction guide before getting started with the
installation.
Safety Instructions:
Use safety precautions while working with scissors or sharp knives. Make
sure to finish all connections on the flat cable, quick connectors, etc.
before connecting to the device or power line. It is recommended to use this
product indoors only.
Installation :
- Ensure full access to the installation location, removing any obstructions.
- Starting from one end of the strip, remove the adhesive paper and apply the flat wire to the surface.
- Install two terminal blocks, one at each end (not supplied, P/N: VGW1620).
- Insert the flat cable into the terminal block according to the stoppers inside.
- Connect your device’s wires to the terminal block using a flat head screwdriver and tighten the screws.
- You may secure the terminal block to the surface using screws before closing the door.
- Repeat the above steps for the other end of the strip.
- Optionally, prime or paint the flat wire for concealment.

16AWG 2-Conductor Ultra Flat Cable (50 FT)
Only use this flat cable in low voltage electrical connections such as with LED lighting, doorbells, security cameras and speakers. Never exceed the maximum voltage rating value of 36V.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Use safety precautions while working with scissors or sharp knives.
- Make sure to first finish all connections on the flat cable, quick connectors, etc. before connecting the line to the device or power line.
- Although this product may work well in places such as a porch or patio we recommend its use indoor only.
INSTALLATION
- Ensure full access to the location where you are planning to install the flat cable, make sure there are no furniture or other objects that will obstruct the installation area.
- Starting with one end of the strip, remove the adhesive paper (bottom layer) and start applying the flat wire to the surface where it is going to be installed. Images 1 and 2
- Once you have the strip installed you can proceed to install the terminals. Two terminal blocks are needed, one for each end (not supplied, P/N: VGW1620).
- Open the terminal block and with the door half way opened start inserting the flat cable thought the opening between the door and the bottom of the terminal block. There are stoppers inside the terminal block that will indicate how far the strip must be inserted (about 1/2″). Images 3 and 4
- Using a flat head screwdriver, unscrew both screws and connect your device’s wires to the terminal block, then tighten the screws. This terminal is compatible with up to 10AWG wires. Image 5
- Before closing the terminal block, you may choose to secure it to the surface using two screws (not supplied), then close the terminal door. Images 6, 7 and 8
- Repeat above steps on the other end of the strip.
- You can proceed to prime or paint the flat wire for maximum concealment. Image 9
