SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Use safety precautions while working with scissors or sharp knives.
- Use cut resistant gloves.
- Refer to your vehicle’s workshop manual for detailed information on how to disassemble parts in your vehicle such as door panels etc.
INSTALLATION
- Prepare the surface where the sound deadening material will be applied. A quick-drying residue free solvent can be used to clean and degrease. The removal of dirt, grease, oil, wax, moisture and rust will ensure a permanent bond between the material and mounting surface.
- Using scissors or a sharp knife cut the material to the desired size. A cardboard or paper template may be useful to achieve the perfect fit.
- Wearing gloves, remove the adhesive paper from the back of the material and apply to the prepared surface. Flatten with hands as much as possible to remove air pockets.
- Using the included Vixen Go rollers will ensure lasting adhesion and maximum damping effect. Make a small hole with the sharp knife on remaining air pockets and work the air out with the roller.
