MEET THE LOCK
INSTALLATION
- Confirm the type of your lock.
Fission Lock
A1. Wipe the surface clean with adhesive promoter.
A2. Align the mounting plate into the card.
3. Align the center of the knob with the crossed red line, attach the mounting plate to the door, and remove the card.
A5. Install 4 AA batteries.
A4. Open the main body battery cover.
A6. Install the main body on the mounting plate.
A7. Thin knob: Find the Clamp Gasket, fix it on the thin knob.
A8. Short knob: Open the knob of the main body, push out the Clamp A, insert the Clamp B, and then put the knob back to its original positioning.
A9. Lock the screws on both sides.
A10. Close the battery cover and the hardware installation is complete.
Conjoined Lock
B1. Wipe the surface clean with adhesive promoter.
B2. Measure the thickness of the door lock, select the appropriate gasket and sticker, and attach it to the mounting plate.
B3. Remove the screw 1 cm out from the door lock, aim the mounting plate into the card, align the center of the knob with the crossed red line, attach the mounting plate to the door, remove the card, and lock the screw back to its original positioning.
B4. Open the main body battery cover.
B5. Install 4 AA batteries.
B6. Install the main body on the mounting plate.
B7. Thin knob: Find the Clamp Gasket, fix it on the thin knob.
B8. Short knob: Open the knob of the main body, push out the Clamp A, insert the Clamp B, and then put the knob back to its original positioning.
B9. Lock the screws on both sides.
B10. Close the battery cover and the hardware installation is complete.
2. Add smart lock in the app
2.1 Download the APP by scanning the QR code, or search “Smart Life” on App
Store / Google Play. Create a new account or log in with an existing account.

2.2 Start the APP,Select “Add Device”.
2.3 Select “Auto Scan”, after you find the device, then click “Next”.
2.4 After the device is added, click “Done”.
NOTE| If you find that the rotation is opposite to the direction of the
door lock, you can click the set icon and set the rotation direction to
“anticlockwise unlock”.

The first time you open the door with APP, the device will calibrate the lock
position. Please ensure that the device has been properly installed on the
door lock.
3. Add smart lock to gateway
3.1 Select gateway in the APP, then click “ Add device by list”.
3.2 Select the smart lock device, and then click “OK”. When the pop-up
box is displayed, select “Immediately to join”.
3.3 Select the device in the gateway sub-device list, then click “Opening
/ Closing ” to unlock and lock the door.
GUIDE FOR USE
1| Unlock/ Lock| A. Use the APP.
B. Turn the knob of the smart lock.
C. Use the keypad(accessory).

2| Rotation Direction| If you find that the rotation is opposite to the
direction of the door lock, you can click the set icon and set the rotation
direction to “anticlockwise unlock”.
3| Calibration| When the rotation is inaccurate during use, you can click
“Setting / Calibration” for calibration in the APP.
4| Check battery| Select the device in the APP to check battery status.
5| Replace Clamp| Take off the Knob directly, press to take out the original
Clamp, and replace another Clamp. You can take out the Clamp Gasket if
necessary.
6| Beep alarm| There will be beeps when the device battery is low, and the
battery needs to be replaced at this time.
7| Unbind device| Firstly, delete the device in the APP, then press “SET”
button on the bottom of the battery case for 5 seconds until you hear a beep,
the device is unbound.
8| Adjust height| If the door lock is too high, you can attach the gaskets to
the mounting plate of the smart lock. First lock the screw holes in the
diagram, then lock the other screw holes.
9| Share Device| A. At the bottom of the device page, click “ ” to enter
member management.
B. Click “+”at the top right of page and select “Family”to add.
C. Fill in the ohter APP account and other information, set the permissions,
and click save.
