VGD2525-2 Sound Deadener for Cars 80 Mil

Read through the entire instruction guide before getting started with the
installation. Professional installation is recommended for this
product.

If you are unsure about your installation abilities, have a professional installer perform the installation for you. Make sure the installation does not interfere with normal operation of other parts of your vehicle.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Use safety precautions while working with scissors or sharp knives.
- Use cut resistant gloves.
- Refer to your vehicle’s workshop manual for detailed information on how to disassemble parts in your vehicle such as door panels etc.
INSTALLATION

Prepare the surface where the sound deadening material will be applied. A quick-drying residue free solvent can be used to clean and degrease. The removal of dirt, grease, oil, wax, moisture and rust will ensure a permanent bond between the material and mounting surface.

Using scissors or a sharp knife cut the material to the desired size. A cardboard or paper template may be useful to achieve the perfect fit.

Wearing gloves, remove the adhesive paper from the back of the material and apply to the prepared surface.
Flatten with hands as much as possible to remove air pockets. -
Using a Vixen Go roller (sold separately) will ensure lasting adhesion and maximum damping effect. Make a small hole with the sharp knife on remaining air pockets and work the air out with the roller.
