Installation instruction
Step 1: First, starting from assembling the roof rack, before installation, please find a flat surface for easy setup. In this step, you need to first assemble the front faring and the short aluminum crossbar. Insert the Tee Sliding Slot Nuts into the short aluminum bar, aligning them with the holes on the front faring, and fasten them with M6*10 screws.
Step 2: Connect the side rails and the long aluminum bars, and fasten them with M8*20 screws.
Step 3: Next, mount the front and rear fairings. To do this, use the Button Head Socket Cap Bolts Screws (M820), Flat Washer (M820*1.5), Flange Hex Lock Nuts (M8). When mounting the front fairing, adjust it all the way up to avoid contact with the roof and leave the bolts loose enough to be able to make adjustments once it is on the roof of the vehicle.
Step 4: Snap the Rubber Mat (the covers length is shorter than the inside brackets covers) into the mounting brackets & the mounting brackets covers.
Step 5: Install the mounting brackets into the assembled roof rack, using M8*25 screws. When installing, make sure to place the rivet nut plates in the holes, and then screw in the screws without over-tightening.
Step 6: Finally, after adjusting the roof rack to the appropriate position, tighten the screws on the mounting brackets. Next, connect the mounting bracket cover to the bracket. Before assembling, be sure to place Nylon Round Spacer between the cover and the bracket, but only for the top holes. Use M825 screws for the top holes, and for the side holes, install them using M820 screws along with washers.
Step 7:
The installation is complete. We hope you enjoy a wonderful off-road life with
this quality Hooke Road product!
