Product Usage Instructions

Surface Mounting:

1. Use appropriate mounting hardware to mark the Mounting Surface for mounting.
2. Secure the Fixture to the Mounting Surface.
3. Use appropriate conduit and fittings for electrical splices.
4. Follow mounting and wiring instructions as per the wiring diagram.
5. Ensure wires are not pinched during installation.

Wall Mounting:

1. Mark the Mounting Surface for hardware locations.
2. Secure the Fixture to the Mounting Surface.
3. Use appropriate conduit and fittings for electrical splices.
4. Follow mounting and wiring instructions as per the wiring diagram.

Pole Mounting:

1. Install the Fixture on the lamp pole with attention to thread matching (NPT 1-1/2).
2. Secure the Fixture with 3 fitting threads.
3. Adjust the direction of the Fixture and twist anti-slip screws.
4. Use appropriate conduit and fittings for electrical splices.
5. Follow mounting and wiring instructions as per the wiring diagram.

Pendant Mounting:

1. Remove the Yoke kit from the driver box.
2. Fix the Mounting Pipe to the installation site.
3. Secure the Fixture on the Mounting Pipe with appropriate thread sealer and torque specifications.
4. Use appropriate conduit and fittings for electrical splices.
5. Follow mounting and wiring instructions as per the wiring diagram.

Yoke Mounting:

1. Use appropriate mounting hardware to mark the Mounting Surface for hardware locations.
2. Secure the Fixture to the Mounting Surface.
3. Use appropriate conduit and fittings for electrical splices.
4. Follow mounting and wiring instructions as per the wiring diagram.

RAB fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and al applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety.THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY APERSO FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.

WARNING: Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fixture. No user serviceable parts inside.

CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF GNITION OF HAZARDOUS ATMOSPHERES, DISCONNECT THE LUMINARE FROM SUPPLY CIRCUIT BEFORE OPENING. KEEP TIGHTLY CLOSED WHEN IN OPERATION.

CLASS I DIV. 2 GROUP A, B, C, D.

SURFACE MOUNTING

1. Use appropriate mounting hardware (by others). Mark the Mounting Surface for mounting hardware locations. Recommended Surface Mounting Bracket distance is 10.51inch (267mm). See Fig.1.
2. Secure the Fixture to Mounting Surface.
3. Use appropriate conduit and fittings to make electrical splices. Follow appropriate mounting and wiring instructions, see wiring diagram Fig.9.
4. Be careful not to pinch the wires.
5. Installation completed (Fig.2).

WALL MOUNTING

1. Mark the Mounting Surface for mounting hardware locations as shown in Fig.3.
2. Secure the Fixture to Mounting Surface.
3. Use appropriate conduit and fittings to make electrical splices. Follow appropriate mounting and wiring instructions, see wiring diagram Fig.9.
4. Installation completed (Fig.4).

POLE MOUNTING

1. Install the Fixture on the fixed lamp pole. Pay attention to the thread of the lamp pole matching (NPT 1-1/2).
2. Secure the Fixture, ensuring that there are 3 pieces of fitting thread.
3. Adjust the direction of the Fixture and twist the anti-slip screws.
4. Use appropriate conduit and fittings to make electrical splices. Follow appropriate mounting and wiring instructions, see wiring diagram Fig.9.
5. Installation completed (Fig.5).

PENDANT MOUNTING

1. Remove the Yoke kit from driver box.
2. Fix the Mounting Pipe to the installation site.
3. Secure the Fixture on the Mounting Pipe, use appropriate thread sealer on pendant rod or fittings, tighten the threads (at least 3 full threads are required), torque is 525 N.m.
4. Use appropriate conduit and fittings to make electrical splices. Follow appropriate mounting and wiring instructions, see wiring diagram Fig.9.
5. Installation completed (Fig.6).

YOKE MOUNTING

1. Use appropriate mounting hardware (by others). Mark the Mounting Surface for mounting hardware locations. Recommended Surface Mounting Bracket distance is 6.49inch (165mm) (Fig.7).
2. Secure the Fixture to Mounting Surface.
3. Use appropriate conduit and fittings to make electrical splices. Follow appropriate mounting and wiring instructions, see wiring diagram Fig.9.
4. Installation completed (Fig.8).

WIRING INSTRUCTION

Please follow the below steps and refer to Fig.9 to perform wiring to branch circuit.

1. Ensure all the power is turned off.
2. Open the junction box of the luminaire.
3. Install 3/4″ trade size conduit to 3/4″ NPT adapter on the luminaire. Please use rigid metal conduit only.
4. Connect the L, N, G from branch to the slots of terminal block, according to the marking on terminal block.
5. Close the power connecting cavity.

0-10V DIMMABLE WIRING

Universal voltage driver permits operation at 120V through 277V, or 277V through 480V, 50 or 60 Hz. For 0-10V dimming follow the wiring directions shown in Fig.10.

1. Connect the black fixture lead to the LINE supply lead.
2. Connect the white fixture lead to the COMMON supply lead.
3. Connect the GROUND wire from fixture to supply ground. Do NOT connect the GROUND of the dimming fixture to the output.
4. Connect the purple fixture lead to the (V+) DIM lead.
5. Connect the pink fixture lead to the (V-) DIM lead.
6. Cap the yellow fixture lead, if present. Do NOT connect.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Be sure fixture temperature is cool enough to touch.
Do not clean or maintain while fixture is energized.

1. Clean polycarbonate lens with non-abrasive glass cleaning solution.
2. Do not open the fixture to clean the LED. Do not touch the LED.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Check that the line voltage at the fixture is correct. Refer to wiring directions.
2. Is the fixture grounded properly?
