Roadway Arm Mounting

  1. Ensure the ROADWAY ARM fits the appropriate Pole Tenon size.

  2. Open the Arm Door and insert the Pole Mounting Clamp into the
    Roadway Arm, then slide the Arm onto the Pole Tenon while guiding wires into the Splice Box.

  3. Tighten the Pole Mounting Clamp with provided Bolts to secure the Roadway Arm on the pole.

Assemble the Fixture to the Arm

  1. Align the Roadway Arm with the Fixture and feed wires from the Fixture into the Splice Box. Slide the Fixture onto the Roadway Arm, ensuring no wiring is pinched.
  2. Attach the Lock Washer to the Mounting Bolt and place it into the Mounting Hole. Secure by tightening the Mounting Bolt.
  3. Make necessary wire connections inside the Splice Box, knot wires for strain relief, and close the Arm Door.

IMPORTANT

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
RAB fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.
WARNING: Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fixture. No user serviceable parts inside. CAUTION: For proper weatherproof function all gaskets must be seated properly and all screws inserted and tightened firmly.

ROADWAY ARM MOUNTING

  1.  The ROADWAY ARM fits a 1”, 1.25”, 1.5” and 2” Pole Tenon.
  2. Unlatch the Arm Door and place the appropriate Pole Mounting Clamp in the Roadway Arm as shown in Fig. 1. The tenon diameter is marked on the Pole Mounting Clamp(s). Slide the Roadway Arm on the Pole Tenon while guiding the wires into the Splice Box (Fig. 2).
  3. Secure the Roadway Arm on the pole by tightening the Pole Mounting Clamp with Bolts (provided).

ASSEMBLE THE FIXTURE TO THE ARM

  1. Line up the Roadway Arm with the Fixture (Fig. 3) and feed wires from the Fixture into the Splice Box (Fig. 3 and 4). Slide the Fixture onto the Roadway Arm while ensuring wiring is not pinched between Roadway Arm and the Fixture (Fig. 3).
  2. Assemble the Lock Washer to the Mounting Bolt and place into Mounting Hole. Secure by tightening the Mounting Bolt (Fig. 3).
  3. Make the necessary wire connections inside the Splice Box and knot the wires for strain relief. Push the Arm Door closed to latch.
