Product Usage Instructions

Preparation:

  1. Turn off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
  2. Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
  3. Carefully unpack the new fixture and ensure all parts are accounted for.

Mounting the Fixture:

  1. Remove mounting plate (A) from backplate (C) by unscrewing screws (D).
  2. Attach mounting plate (A) to the junction box using 8-32 screws (B).
  3. Ensure proper alignment and tighten screws to secure the mounting plate.
  4. Verify the orientation of mounting plate (A) with the GND marking facing out.

Connecting the Wires:

  1. Connect electrical wires following the diagram in Fig.2.
  2. If a ground wire is present, connect the fixture’s ground wire appropriately.
  3. Tuck wire connections neatly into the junction box.

Finishing the Fixture:

  1. Mount backplate (E) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (D).
  2. Install crystals by sliding them over the candle sleeves.
  3. Install light bulbs according to specifications, ensuring not to exceed the maximum wattage rating.
  4. Turn the power on and test the fixture.

FAQ

  • Q: Can I use light bulbs exceeding 60 watts per E12 base?
    • A: No, it is not recommended to exceed the maximum wattage rating to avoid potential hazards.
  • Q: What should I do if my junction box does not have a ground wire?
    • A: In the absence of a ground wire in the junction box, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.

PREPARATION

(Fig.1)

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
    MOUNTING THE FIXTURE

  3. To begin, it will be necessary to remove mounting plate (A) from the back plate (C) by removing screws (D) located on the side of the back plate (C). see fig. 1.

  4. To begin the installation, first attach a mounting plate (A) to junction box (JB) “not provided” by using 8-32 screws (B) or the screws from the previously installed mounting strap or plate. Make sure threaded holes are on the top and bottom when installing the mounting plate and the plate is plumb when by placing a level across the side. Adjust plate and tighten screws to secure the mounting plate.The side of mounting plate (A) with “GND” marked on it and two convex points must face out.
    CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)

  5. Connect the electrical wire as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all the wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green, or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using green screw provided.

  6. Tuck wire connections neatly into the junction box (JB).
    FINISHING THE FIXTURE

  7. To mount the fixture to the wall. Slip back plate (E) over the mounting plate (A) and align holes at top and bottom back plate (E) with threaded holes on top and bottom of the mounting plate (A).

  8. Thread in screws (D) removed earlier to secure back plate (E) to mounting plate (A).

  9. To begin installing the accessories, take the crystal bobeche (cb) and slip it down over the candle sleeve (cs). Repeat the process until all crystals are fully installed.

  10. Install 2x E12 base light bulbs (LB) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification.

DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

Your installation is now complete. You can now turn the power ON and test the fixture.
