Product Usage Instructions

Connection and Setup:
To use the luminaire, you will need to connect it to a separate mains plug which must be ordered separately. Ensure that you have the necessary country- specific mains plug with a 0.5m connecting cable for proper connection.

Safety Guidelines:
Follow national safety regulations for the installation and operation of the luminaire. Avoid improper use or installation to prevent damage. Any modifications made to the luminaire should be done by authorized personnel.

Overvoltage Protection:
The luminaire comes with overvoltage protection for electronic components. For additional protection against transients, consider using separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.

Total Load Management:
When configuring your lighting system, ensure that the total power consumption does not exceed 6 A. The power consumption of the luminaire is specified as 0.14 A.

Lamp Module Details:

Safety

• The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations.

Overvoltage protection

• The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage by DIN EN 61547.

Caution:
The BEGA UniLink® plug connectors may only be connected and disconnected in a voltage-free state.

Installation

• Unscrew the hexagon socket screws (wrench size 3 mm) on the sides of the connection adapter and screw the corresponding accessory to the floodlight.
• Torque = 5 Nm.
• Plug the floodlight’s connecting cable into the plug contact of the connecting cable with the country-specific mains plug or into the distribution box or extension cable.
• To ensure a sufficiently low protective conductor resistance (loop resistance), the connecting cable of each luminaire in the system must not exceed a length of 50 m from the entry point.

Adjustment of beam direction:

• Undo the joint screw (hexagon socket head wrench size 5 mm) and set the desired beam direction.
• Tighten the joint screw.
• Torque = 7 Nm.

Dimension

Cleaning And Maintenance

• Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt and deposits.
• Do not use high-pressure cleaners.

Maintenance
The connecting cable must be checked for external damage and may only be replaced by a qualified electrician.

Please note:

• Do not remove the desiccant bag from the luminaire housing.
• It is needed to remove residual moisture.

Replacing the LED module

• The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
• The light color and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted.
• The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
• Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
• Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
• Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets.
• The defective glass must be replaced.
• Close the luminaire.
• Tighten grub screws (wrench size 3 mm) evenly.
• Torque = 2.5 Nm.
