Product Usage Instructions

Preparing for Installation

1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
2. Remove the old fixture and mounting hardware.
3. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts.

Assembling the Fixture

1. Remove screws on the mounting plate from the fixture’s body.
2. Secure the mounting plate to the junction box using the provided mounting screws.

Connecting the Wires

1. Connect the electrical wires as shown in the provided diagram.
2. If there is a ground wire in the junction box, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect it directly to the mounting plate.
3. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.

Completing the Installation

1. Place the canopy over the mounting plate and secure it with screws.
2. Install candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL/LED equivalents. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
3. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.

FAQ

Q: Can I use bulbs with wattage higher than 60 watts?
A: No, do not exceed the maximum wattage rating of 60 watts per candelabra base bulb to avoid damaging the fixture.

Q: What should I do if my junction box does not have a ground wire?
A: In the absence of a ground wire in the junction box, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
   ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)

3. Remove screws (D) on mounting plate (A) from fixture’s body (C).

4. Secure mounting plate (A) to junction box (not included) using mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”). The side of mounting plate (A) marked with “GND” and two convex points must face out.
   CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
   

5. Connect the electrical wires as shown in (Fig.2). Making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (A) using green screw provided.

6. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
   COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

7. Place canopy (C) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (D).

8. Install (4) four candelabra base bulbs (E) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
