Safety Instructions:

• The installation of this product should be carried out by an approved electrician in compliance with local and national regulations.
• Operate the product only on an even, stable, and tilt-fixed surface. Avoid exposure to strong mechanical stress or dirt contamination.
• The light source must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service technician, or a qualified person.

Cleaning and Storage:

• Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning and allow it to cool down.
• Clean the external surfaces regularly with a slightly moistened cloth. Avoid using pressure washers and harsh chemicals. Store the product in a dry and clean place.

Placement:
Consider the IP type of the product to ensure suitability for the intended location. Fix the product securely using the provided Screw Set or Ground Spike (SLV 228560).

Putting into Service:

• Connect the mains plug to an outdoor socket. Use a trailing-edge phase dimmer (Code C) for dimming purposes following the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure the product stands securely and functions properly before regular use.

INSTALLATION

The installation requires expert knowledge and may be carried out only by an approved electrician under consideration of local and national regulations!

Use as directed

• Safety class I (1) – Connection with protective conductor.
• Operate only on an even, stable and tilt-fixed surface.
• Do not strain mechanically or expose to strong dirt contamination.

Protection against foreign bodies and liquids (IP protection class)

• Luminaire:
  • IP66: Protection against dust (dust-tight) – Protection against strongly jetted water.
• Safety plug, when connected to IP44 plug socket:
  • IP44: Protection against foreign objects > Ø 1,0mm – Protection against splashing water from all directions.

Light Source
The light source of this luminaire may only be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service technician or a comparable qualified person.
This product contains a light source of the energy efficiency class E.

The light source is only exchangeable by a professional. The separate control unit is only exchangeable by a professional.

Care / Storage

• Disconnect the product from the mains and let it cool down.
• Clean external surfaces regularly with a slightly moistened (water) cloth.
• Do not clean with a pressure washer.
• The following influences may have unwanted effects on the product: acidic surroundings, high salt content in the air, cleaning agents, fertilizer, thawing salt, and chemicals.
• Store dry and clean.

Placement

Consider IP type. It must be suitable for the place of operation.
Types of fixation:

• Screw-Set (supplied): Direct fixation.
• Ground spike (SLV 228560): Fixation in soil.
• Place in a way that the product poses no danger(e.g. stumbling).

Putting into service

• Connect the mains plug with an outdoor plug socket.
• Suitable Dimmer: Trailing-edge phase dimmer (Code C). Note the manufacturer’s instructions.
  Check for secure standing and proper function!
