Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Determine Installation Height
Determine the desired height or look of the fixture using the provided stems,
swivel, and/or chain. Assemble them by screwing them together.
Step 2: Assemble Parts
All parts may be used alone or in combination. Use the hang straight for
standard ceilings and the link and loop for sloped ceilings.
Step 3: Install the Fixture
- Locate the junction box for installation.
- Mounting Plate – Attach the fixture to the mounting plate using the threaded nipple and screw collar.
- Canopy – Secure the canopy in place with the collar nut.
- Hang Straight – Use for standard ceilings; Link and Loop – Use for sloped ceilings.
- Assemble the stem, shade, shade ring, and lamp according to the desired configuration.

CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE
This product must be installed by the applicable installation code by a person
familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards
involved.
- Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.
Install the Fixture
- Determine the wanted height or look of the fixture with the provided stems, swivel, and/or chain and assemble them by screwing them together. All the parts may be used alone or in combination. NOTE: Use hang straight for standard ceilings and use link and loop for sloped ceilings.
- Feed the fixture wires through the stems/hang straight or link and loop assembly and screw the assembly to the socket assembly.
- Unscrew the collar nut off the screw collar and place it onto the stem/hang straight or link and loop assembly followed by the canopy.
- Screw the screw collar onto the threaded nipple.
- Feed the fixture wires through the threaded nipple and screw the mounting plate assembly onto the hang straight or link and loop.
- Align and secure the mounting plate to the junction box.
- Connect the fixture to a suitable ground by local electrical codes.
- Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
- Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
- Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the canopy onto the ceiling and secure it in place with the collar nut.
- Install the shade onto the socket and secure it in place with the shade ring.
- Screw the lamp into the socket. Refer to the label on the socket for Max Wattage Information.
