Product Usage Instructions

1. Login to Cisco BroadWorks Management Web: Steps:

2. Open a web browser and enter the address of Cisco BroadWorks.

3. Input User ID and password provided by the administrator.

4. Click on the login button to access the management web interface.

1. Introduction of Cisco BroadWorks
   Cisco BroadWorks, as the world’s leading cloud business communication platform, not only provides excellent security and reliability, but also guarantees up to 99.999% availability and full redundancy. It has full Cisco Broadworks capabilities and supports more than 26 million enterprise users worldwide, ranging from small and micro businesses to multinational corporations. Based on its open architecture, all series of Fission phones support the automatic deployment service of Cisco Broadworks as SIP server, which eliminates the tedious manual deployment process for users and brings more convenience to users.

2. Announcements
   This article aims to provide SIP account registration operation guidance for users who use Cisco Broadworks as SIP server and FLYINGVOICE IP phone as terminal.

1. Login the Cisco BroadWroks management web
   Steps :
   Browser to enter the address of Cisco BroadWorks –》Input User ID and password, click on the login.

3. Broaworks has a fixed extension allocation mechanism. Each user can only be assigned one extension number, so you can only assign extensions to existing users. If you need to add an additional extension, you need to add a new user.
   Attention:
   For the address, user name and password of Cisco BroadWorks, please contact the administrator to obtain it. One extension number will correspond to one user.

4. Add a new user

If you need to add an additional extension, you need to contact your administrator to add a new user. This article will demonstrate the operation of adding a new user (extension number) under the authority of administrator.
   Steps:
   Profile–》Users–》Add–》Fill in the user information and save the application (the informations with * are required, and the rest is optional)

Table1 Parameters Description

Last Name| Enter the user’s Last name;
First Name| Enter the user’s First name;
Calling Line ID Last Name| The Last name will be displayed on the caller interface when dialing. This parameter follows Last Name by default;
Calling Line ID First Name| When dialing the First name of the caller interface, this parameter follows the First Name by default;
Initial Password| Set the user’s initial password.
Re-type Initial Password| Reenter the user’s initial password to confirm.

Assign an extension number
To assign an extension to a new user, you need to manually assign an extension to a newly added user, or you can follow this step to change the extension configuration of an existing user.
Steps:
Filter Users according to specific conditions (if you do not add conditions, directly click Search to display all users by default) — 》Click Edit to config the extension for users –》enter the extension configuration interface, fill in the parameters , see Table 2 for parameters description — 》Apply –》 Successful configuration, return to the Users interface to view the extension . Extension| The extension number assigned to this user, which defaults to the last four digits of the phone number and can be customized.
Identity/Device Profile; Trunking; None;| Choose the authentication method, if you choose to use Identity/Device Profile, you can choose the new template or use the generic SIP template; If Trunking is selected, the number will be added to the relay group. If NONE is selected, no authentication method is set.
Identity/Device Profile| Identity/Device Profile Name| Select a profile name;
Line/Port| Select a phone line, usually in the form of phone number @domain.com;
Aliases| Alias control, enter up to three SIP addresses using this number, all of which will eventually be redirected to this number;

Config FIYINGVOICE IP Phones

• Fill in the parameters in the web of IP Phone
• Fill in the extension information on the IP phones and register.

Attention:
The password entry in the user information is determined by the Identity/Device Profile of the Cisco BroadWroks.

Steps:
Login the web page of the phone — 》Enter configuration information — 》Save and apply — 》Register successfully.

Table 3 Parameters Description

Profile;
Phone Number| Corresponds to the Phone Number of Broadworks;
Proxy Server| The domain where the Broadworks Cisco BroadWroks resides.
Proxy Port| Default is 5060;
Outbound Server| IP address of the IP Cisco BroadWroks.
Outbound Port| Corresponds to the port set in Broadworks’ Identity/Device Profile.

Save & Apply 

Steps: Click Save & Apply.
