Please carefully read the safety instructions and the user manual before using this product. Keep away from children. Use the device only as specified in the user manual.

The kit includes: radiation detector, Type-C USB cable, user manual, and warranty.

Getting started

Press (5) and hold it for 3s to turn the device on/off. The device enters dose rate measurement mode by default.

Charging the device

This device uses a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. Connect the USB cable (included) to the device and the DC adapter (not included) via a USB plug and connect it to the AC power supply to charge the battery. A USB connection message will appear. The  LED indicator is green during charging.

! The battery needs to be recharged once every 12 months.

Usage

Press (3) to switch between the following modes:

  1. DOSE RATE: instantaneous dose rate
  2. DOSE: accumulated dose rate taken for a certain period of time
  3. AVR: average dose rate taken for a certain period of time
  4. MAX: maximum dose rate registered from the moment the radiation detector was turned on During the dose rate measurement, LED indicator (2) will be blinking in green. All of the data is reset after the device is turned off.

Alarm settings
To go to the radiation detector alarm settings, press (3) and hold it for 3s, then press (5). The lock symbol will disappear.

Instantaneous dose rate alarm

Press (3) and go through the menus to select DOSE RATE Alarm screen.

Press (5) three times to select the dose rate alarm setting. The alarm value will start flashing (1.0mSv/h by default). Set the alarm value within the 0.6–300μSv/h range by pressing (3). Press (5) to save the set dose rate alarm value.

Accumulated dose rate alarm
Press (3) and select DOSE Alarm screen.

Press (5) three times to select the dose alarm setting. The alarm value will start flashing (100mSv by default). Set the alarm value within the 1–3000μSv range by pressing (3). Press (5) to save the dose alarm value.
When the alarm threshold is reached, the device’s buzzer (4) will start producing a beeping sound and the LED indicator (2) will be blinking in green.

Care and maintenance

The device is designed to measure X-, β- and γ-radiation. The values for X-radiation are reference values. Do not expose the device to strong radiation. Do not use the device in explosive atmospheres. Do not use the device in humid and dust environments. Store the device in a dry cool place. Do not expose the device to shock, continuous vibrations, or extreme high or low temperatures. Do not try to disassemble the device on your own for any reason. For calibration, repairs and cleaning of any kind, please contact your local specialized service center. Protect the device from sudden impact and excessive mechanical force. Only use accessories and spare parts for this device that comply with the technical specifications. Never attempt to operate a damaged device or a device with damaged electrical parts! If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Battery safety instructions

The device is equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This avoids frequent battery replacement. Always switch the device off when not in use. If the battery charge is low, please recharge the device in time to ensure that the measurements are  accurate. Do not overheat the battery. Do not discharge the battery completely. Only use the original charger.
