Charging the device

This device uses a rechargeable lithium battery. Connect the power cable (included) to the device and the DC adapter (not included) via a USB plug and connect it to the AC power supply to charge the device.

Getting started

To turn the device on, press the Power/Back button (1) for 6 seconds. The menu will be shown.
To turn the device off, press the Power/Back button (1) for 3 seconds until the shutdown interface appears. Press the OK/Menu button (4) or Power/Back button (1) to confirm or cancel the shutdown

Usage

Image capture. Press the Shot button (5) to enter the photography interface. Point the device toward the test area and scan, the camera image will appear on the display. Use the crosshair to target highest/lowest/central point temperature. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to save the image. Press the Power/Back button (1) to cancel.
Image/Video display. Press the OK/Menu (4) to enter the menu and select Files. Press the Up button (2) or the Down button (3) to view saved images/videos. Press the Shot button (5) to play/pause the video. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to delete the file.

Settings

Mode selection. Press the Up button (2) to select the mode.

Units of measurement. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to enter the menu. Press the Up button (2) and Down button (3) to choose between °C/°F/K. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to confirm.
Emissivity correction. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to enter the menu. Press the Up button (2) and the Down button (3) to adjust the value (from 0.01 to 1.00). Press the OK/Menu button (4) to confirm.
Language / Date & time / Alarm / Auto-off. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to enter the menu, then select More Settings. Press the Up button (2) or Down button (3) button to choose/adjust the settings. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to confirm.
Image fusion. To accurately align the thermal image and the visible image, choose the dual fusion mode, then aim the device at the target. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to enter the menu, select More Settings, and then select Image Fusion. Press the Up button (2) and the
Down button (3) to adjust the alignment. Press the Power/Back button (1) to confirm.
IR illumination (infrared radiation) can be detected by photo and video cameras as well as other similar electronic devices during operation.

Care and maintenance

Use the device only as specified in the user manual. Do not use the device to detect live power lines (such as 220V power supply lines) as it will damage the device. In order to avoid lightning strikes, do not use the device during thunderstorms. Keep away from children. Do not try to disassemble the device on your own for any reason. For repairs and cleaning of any kind, please contact your local specialized service centre. Protect the device from sudden impact and excessive mechanical force. Do not use the product in an explosive environment, or close to flammable materials. Store the device in a dry cool place. Battery safety instructions

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones or batteries of different types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –).
