Charging the device

This device uses a rechargeable lithium battery. Connect the power cable (included) to the device and the DC adapter (not included) via a USB plug and connect it to the AC power supply to charge the device.

Getting started

  • To turn the device on, press the Power/Back button (1) for 6 seconds. The menu will be shown.
  • To turn the device off, press the Power/Back button (1) for 3 seconds until the shutdown interface appears. Press the OK/Menu button (4) or Power/Back button (1) to confirm or cancel the shutdown

Usage

  • Image capture. Press the Shot button (5) to enter the photography interface. Point the device toward the test area and scan, the camera image will appear on the display. Use the crosshair to target highest/lowest/central point temperature. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to save the image. Press the Power/Back button (1) to cancel.
  • Image/Video display. Press the OK/Menu (4) to enter the menu and select Files. Press the Up button (2) or the Down button (3) to view saved images/videos. Press the Shot button (5) to play/pause the video. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to delete the file.

  • Mode selection. Press the Up button (2) to select the mode.

  • Units of measurement. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to enter the menu. Press the Up button (2) and Down button (3) to choose between °C/°F/K. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to confirm.
  • Emissivity correction. Press the OK/Menu button (4) to enter the menu. Press the Up button (2) and the Down button (3) to adjust the value (from 0.01 to 1.00). Press the OK/Menu button (4) to confirm.

Battery safety instructions

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones or batteries of different types.
