Getting started
- Open the battery compartment cover (5) and insert 2 AAA batteries according to the correct Close the cover.
- Press and hold the power button (3) for 2 seconds to turn the device on/off.
Usage
- Select the type of brake fluid to The default is DOT3. Press the function button (4) to switch to DOT4, then to DOT5, and again to DOT3.
- Immerse the metal part of the probe into the brake fluid for 3 seconds until the screen display
To measure moisture in brake fluid, the metal part of the probe must be completely immersed in the fluid.

If no measurements are taken within 5 minutes, the device turns off automatically.
Low battery indicator
If the battery voltage is below 2.6 V, the symbol is displayed. Immediately replace the batteries. If the battery voltage is below 2.4 V, the device turns off automatically.

Care and maintenance
Handle the device probe with care. Damage or oxidation of the metal probe may reduce measurement accuracy. The test probe must be completely dry before use. After analyzing the brake fluid, the first thing to do is to clean the probe. Use a damp cloth to clean the probe. Do not use the device if it is damaged or does not operate properly. Replace the battery as soon as the low battery indicator lights up. Store the device in the place with appropriate temperature and humidity (see “Specifications”). Protect the device from sudden impact and excessive mechanical force. Never attempt to operate a damaged device or a device with damaged electrical parts! Only use accessories and spare parts for this device that comply with the technical specifications. If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Battery safety instructions
Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Remove batteries from equipment
that is not to be used for an extended period of time. Remove used batteries promptly. Never short-circuit batteries as this may lead to high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Remember to switch off device after use. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid risk of ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as prescribed by your country’s laws.
