ERMENRICH Zing ST30 Socket Tester

Product Information

The Ermenrich Zing ST30 Socket Tester is a device designed to test the electrical socket outlets. It is compatible with 230V and 50Hz power supply and has a CAT rating.

CAT Rating

The CAT rating is an abbreviation for Category Rating. It is a safety standard that indicates the maximum voltage level that the device can handle. A higher CAT rating means the device can handle higher voltage levels, making it safer to use.

Product Usage Instructions

Insert the Ermenrich Zing ST30 Socket Tester into the electrical socket outlet that you wish to test.
Observe the LED indicators on the device to determine the status of the socket outlet:
- If all three LEDs light up (Red, Amber, Green), it indicates that the socket is wired correctly.
- If only the Red LED lights up, it indicates that there is an open circuit.
- If only the Amber LED lights up, it indicates that there is a short circuit.
- If only the Green LED lights up, it indicates that there is an incorrect wiring connection.

Using

Check that the device is clean as well as free of dust, grease, and moisture. Examine all of the socket leads for damage. Test the device on a properly functioning socket before using it for the first time.
Insert the device into a power socket. Compare the LED indicator lights to the LED data table below. Pull the device out of the socket.
If any errors are found, the wiring must be tested.

This device does not detect a connection to earth.
