  • Press and hold (8) for 3 seconds to turn the device on/off. The operation status indicator (7) shall light on.

Testing
Put the sensor (1) up to a known AC power source to test the device. If the operation status indicator (7) turns on, the device can be used.

Usage
Bring the sensor (1) to a cable, a wire or a socket. The device will beep fast and the (5) indicator will be red if the signal is strong. This means that the device has detected a live line. The device will beep slow and the (6) indicator will be yellow if the signal is weak. This means that the device has detected a neutral or weak line.
!Random beeps and flashes may occur due to detection of static charges.

Sensitivity setting
Press (9) to switch between the low and high sensitivity modes (the default mode is low sensitivity). When the (9) button is illuminated, it means that the device is in high sensitivity mode. When the (9) button is not illuminated, it means that the device is in the low sensitivity mode.
