Product Usage Instructions

Getting Started:

Press and hold the DIST button for 3 seconds to turn the device on and off. The default reference point is the bottom end of the device, but you can change it to the top by pressing the UNIT and DIST buttons simultaneously.

Units of Measurement:

To change the unit of measurement, press and hold the UNIT button for 1 second. You can choose from different unit options available

Single Distance Measurement Mode:

To measure a single distance, turn on the device and press the DIST button to activate the laser. Aim at the target and press the DIST button again to get the measurement. Press DIST again to exit.

Continuous Measurement:

In continuous measurement mode, activate the laser by pressing the DIST button. Aim at the target, press and hold DIST for 1 second. The screen will display MAX, MIN, and the last measured values. Press DIST to exit.

Area Measurement:

Switch to area measurement mode by pressing the UNIT button and aim the laser at the target. Press DIST to measure two sides of the  target and the area will be calculated automatically.

Volume Measurement:

For volume measurement, press UNIT to enter volume measurement mode. Aim the laser at the target and press DIST to measure length, width, and height. The volume will be calculated automatically.

Settings:

To access settings, when the device is off, press DIST for 5 seconds. Use UNIT to switch between SET 1 (beep/voice switch) and SET 2 (calibration). Press DIST to change the current setting.

Getting started

Press and hold (8) for 3 seconds to turn the device on and off.

Reference point
The default reference point is the bottom end of the device. Press (7) and (8) buttons simultaneously to change the measurement point from the bottom to the top of the device.

Units of measurement
Press (7) and hold it for 1s to change the unit of measurement.

Single-distance measurement

When the device is turned on, it goes into single-distance measurement mode automatically. Press (8) to turn the laser on. Aim the laser beam at the target and press (8). The value will be displayed on the screen. Press (8) to exit.

Continuous measurement

Press (8) to turn the laser on. Aim the laser beam at the target, press (8) and hold it for 1s. MAX, MIN, and the last measured values will be displayed on the screen. Press (8) to exit.

Area measurement

Press (7) to enter area measurement mode. Aim the laser beam at the target and press (8) to measure two sides of the target. The area will be calculated automatically.

Volume measurement

Press (7) to enter volume measurement mode. Aim the laser at the target and press (8) to measure the length, width, and height of the three-dimensional target. The volume will be calculated automatically.

Care and maintenance

This is a class II laser product. Please DO NOT look directly into the beam with unprotected eyes or through an optical device at any time and never direct it toward other people. Only use accessories and spare parts for this device that comply with the technical specifications. Never attempt to operate a damaged device or a device with damaged electrical parts! If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.

Battery safety instructions

Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use. Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time; taking care not to mix old and new ones or batteries of different types. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. Make sure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and –). Remove batteries from equipment that is not to be used for an extended period of time. Remove used batteries promptly. Never short-circuit batteries as this may lead to high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Never heat batteries in order to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Remember to switch off devices after use. Keep batteries out of the reach of children, to avoid the risk of ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Utilize used batteries as prescribed by your country’s laws.
