Product Usage Instructions
Installing the Plug-in Lamp Dimmer:

Turn on the lamp you want to control and unplug it.

If you want to control a second lamp, turn it on and plug it into the other side.

Plug in the lamp dimmer (PD-3PCL) to the outlet.
Installing the Lutron Smart Hub: -
Connect the smart hub (L-BDG2) to your Wi-Fi router using the Ethernet cable.

Connect the power cord (T-5DC-USB) to the smart hub and plug it into an outlet.
Using the Lutron App: -
Download the Lutron App from your app store.

Follow the setup instructions provided in the app.
Using the Controls:
- To turn the lights on, press the “On” button on the Pico remote control (PJ2-3BRL).
- To turn the lights off, press the “Off” button.
- To adjust the brightness, use the “Brighter” and “Darker” buttons.
- You can also schedule your lights and control them remotely using the Lutron App.
Important Notes:
- Use only with dimmable LED, halogen, or incandescent lamps.
- Do not exceed the maximum wattage limits specified for each type of bulb.
- If you experience flickering or lights turning off when using dimmable LED bulbs, visit www.casetawireless.com/lowend for information on adjusting the dimmer for optimal performance.

Installing your lamp dimmer
Turn on the lamp
Turn on the lamp you want to control and unplug it.
Connect the lamp(s)
Plug the lamp cord into either side of the Caséta plug-in lamp dimmer.
If you want to control a second lamp turn it on and plug it into the other side.

Important note:
Use only with dimmable LED, halogen, or incandescent lamps.
Do not exceed the total maximum wattage shown below:
Using your Caséta by Lutron kit
Install the Lutron smart hub
The Caséta plug-in dimmer can be controlled from a smartphone when used with the Lutron smart hub. All devices must be within 30 ft (9 m) from the Lutron smart hub.
- A. Connect the smart hub to your Wi-Fi router using the Ethernet cable.
- B. Connect the power cord to the smart hub and plug it into an outlet.

NOTE: You can mix and match dimmable LED, halogen, and incandescent light bulbs with Caséta dimmers.

Troubleshooting
| Symptoms | Probable cause and action |

Lamp does not turn on or
lamp dimmer LED does not light up.
| • Light bulb(s) burned out.
• Lamp is turned off.
• Lamp is not plugged in.
• Outlet is switched off.
Light does not respond
to Pico remote control.
| • The dimmer is not properly paired with the Pico remote control;
The Pico remote control can be paired with the dimmer using the Lutron app.
• The dimmer is already at the light level the Pico remote control is sending.
• The Pico remote control is outside the 30 ft (9 m) operating range.
• The Pico remote control battery is low.
• The Pico remote control battery is installed incorrectly.
• Bulbs turn off while being dimmed.
• Bulbs turn on at high light level but do not turn on at a low light level.
• Bulbs flicker or flash when dimmed to a low light level.
