Product Information

The SD Card Real Time Recorder and AC/DC Magnetic Meter is a professional magnetic measurement tool that can measure DC or AC magnetic fields. It has a wide measurement range and can measure in units of Gauss (G) or milli Tesla (mT). The meter has a DC magnetic range of 300.00 mT and 3000.0 mT, and an AC magnetic range of 150.00 mT and 1500.0 mT. The resolution for DC measurement is 0.01 mT/0.1 mT, 0.1 G/1 G, and for AC measurement is 0.01 mT/0.1 mT, 0.1 G/1 G. The meter features a Hall sensor, zero adjustment, and a separate probe for easy measurement. It also has a real-time SD memory card datalogger with a built-in clock and advanced memory card settings.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the SD Card Real Time Recorder and AC/DC Magnetic Meter, follow these steps:

  1. Insert six alkaline or heavy-duty DC 1.5 V batteries (UM3, AA) or equivalent into the meter or connect an ADC 9V adapter input (AC/DC power adapter is optional).
  2. Attach the magnetic probe to the meter’s separate probe, and turn on the meter by pressing the power button.
  3. Select the measurement unit for Gauss (G) or milli Tesla (mT) and select the DC or AC magnetic measurement mode.
  4. Select the range for measurement. The DC magnetic range is 300.00 mT and 3000.0 mT, and the AC magnetic range is 150.00 mT and 1500.0 mT.
  5. Adjust the zero if needed, and make sure the probe is aligned with the magnetic field to be measured.
  6. The measurement reading will be displayed on the LCD screen with the option to freeze the display reading, display the maximum and minimum values, and recall data from memory.
  7. For real-time data recording, insert an SD memory card (1 GB to 16 GB) into the meter and set the clock time (Year/Month/Date, Hour/Minute/Second), sampling time, auto power off management, beep sound on/off, and decimal point of SD card setting.
  8. For manual data recording, press the data logger button once to save data one time. Set the sampling time to 0 second for manual mode, or select the 1 to 99 position (location) number.
  9. For data output, connect the optional RS232 cable UPCB-02 or USB cable USB-01 to get the RS232 plug or USB plug. The meter also comes with Data Acquisition software SW-U801-WIN and Excel data Acquisition software SE-E802.

make the further data or graphic analysis by themselves.
