How to Rip Sock Wrap

  1. Unwind your roll of SOCK WRAP just beyond the length you need.
  2. Pinch tightly with both hands at the top of your SOCK WRAP.
  3. Keeping one hand completely still, rip towards you with the other hand.

Taping Socks

  1. Pull down your team sock to meet the grip sock.
  2. Hold the tape firm to the ankle, and wrap the tape 2-3 times around the join.
  3. Rip away the tape and press down firmly to secure it to itself.
  4. Repeat on the top of your sock to hold them up during the game.

Goalkeeper Taping

  1. Keeping your hand straight, wrap the tape 2-3 times around your wrist.
  2. For your fingers, start below the knuckle, and wrap the tape 1-2 times around the joint.

Compression

  1. Starting below the affected area, wrap in an upward direction.
  2. Stretch the tape as you apply it to achieve comfortable compression.

PURPOSE

  • Provides compression to bumps and bruises.
  1. Starting below the affected area, wrap in an upward direction
  2. Stretch the tape as you apply it, to achieve comfortable compression
  3. Continue to wrap the area, covering the swelling or injury. Then check circulation.
  4. Press skin; normal colour should return in 1-2 seconds. If not, reapply with less tension.
