SAFETY & HANDLING

CHARGING INFORMATION:
Charge the case with the charging cable and a power adapter or computer. Only charge with an adapter that is compliant with applicable country regulations and international and regional safety standards, including the international Standard for Safety or Information Technology Equipment (IEC 60950-1). Other adapters may not meet applicable safety standards, and charging with such adapters could pose a risk of death or injury. Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the case or other property.

BLUETOOTH ®
To turn on Bluetooth, take earbuds out of the case. They will automatically connect to the last device, if within range. To turn off Bluetooth on Knockdown Earbuds, place them into the charging case to turn the power off or turn them off manually.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Handle your Knockdown Earbuds, charging case, and custom fit earcaps with care. They contain sensitive electronic components, including batteries, and can be damaged, impair functionality, or cause injury if dropped, burned, punctured, crushed, disassembled, or if exposed to excessive heat or liquid or to environments having high concentration of industrial chemicals, including near evaporating liquified gases such as helium. If Knockdown Earbuds or charging case have been damaged, discontinue use.

EXPOSURE TO HEAT
Knockdown Earbuds, the charging case and the cable might cause discomfort or injury when plugged into a power source. Avoid prolonged skin contact with the above devices when plugged into a power source. Keep the product away from fire and heat sources. Do NOT place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, on or near the product

BATTERY

The battery provided with this product may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mishandled. If the battery leaks, do NOT allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact is made, seek medical advice. Do NOT expose products containing batteries to excessive heat (e.g. from storage in direct sunlight, fire or the like). DON’T attempt to remove the rechargeable lithium-ion battery from this product. Contact Knockdown at
support@knockdown.fit or other qualified professional for removal.

WATER RESISTANCY
Knockdown Earbuds are resistant to sweat when using during your workout. Do NOT submerge Knockdown Earbuds to water, or wear while participating in water sports, e.g., swimming, waterskiing, surfing, etc.

WARNING: TO PREVENT POSSIBLE HEARING DAMAGE, DO NOT LISTEN AT HIGH VOLUME LEVELS FOR LONG PERIODS.

• SKIN SAFETY AND HYGIENE
  Earphones can lead to ear infections if not properly cleaned. Your custom-fit earcaps are safe to touch the skin but frequent cleaning with a soft lint-free cloth is highly recommended. If a skin problem develops, discontinue use of Knockdown Earbuds and consult a physician if the problem consists.

• ELECTROSTATIC SHOCK RISK
  When using Knockdown Earbuds in areas where the air is very dry, the potential to build up static electricity, and for your ears to receive a small electrostatic discharge from Knockdown Earbuds, increases. Avoid using Knockdown Earbuds in extremely dry environments to decrease this risk.

• POTENTIAL MEDICAL DEVICE INTERFERENCE
  Your Knockdown Earbuds and charging case contain magnets and components and radios that emit electromagnetic fields. The electromagnetic fields and magnets may interfere with medical devices such as but not limited to pacemakers and defibrillators. Maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical device and Knockdown Earbuds and charging case. Consult your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device. Do not use Knockdown Earbuds or charging case if you suspect interference with any of your medical devices.

• OPERATING OF A VEHICLE
  Using Knockdown Earbuds while operating a vehicle is not recommended and can put yourself and/or other in danger of injury or death. Be aware of the applicable laws and regulations on the use of earphones before operating a vehicle and obey. Do not use Knockdown Earbuds while operating any type of vehicle if you find the use disruptive or distracting.

• CHOKING HAZARD CONTAINS SMALL PARTS WHICH MAY BE A CHOKING HAZARD. NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER AGE 3.

• IMPORTANT HANDLING INFORMATION:
  Discoloration of the lightning connector and/or of the bottom of the stem of your Knockdown Earbuds after regular use is normal. Dirt, debris, and exposure to moisture may cause discoloration.

COMPLIANCE

Knockdown Earbuds are only for sale in the United States and are not approved for use in other jurisdictions. This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device may accept any  interference received, including interference that might cause undesired operation.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.

This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communica- tions. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
• Increase the separation between equipment and receiver
• Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician or help

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could
void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

WARRANTY

LIMITED WARRANTY

Knockdown Ear Lab LLC (“Knockdown”) warrants your product against defects in materials and workmanship when purchased directly from Bose or a Bose authorized reseller. This warranty is extended only to the original end-use purchaser or the person receiving the product as a gift and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee. The warranty is valid from the date of retail purchase for a period of 6 months . In the case of a covered warranty defect, Knockdown will at its option: (A) repair the product using new or refurbished parts; (B) replace the product with an equivalent new or refurbished product; or (C) provide a partial or full refund of the original purchase price to you in exchange for return of the product.
This warranty does not cover defects or damage arising from improper use or maintenance, normal wear and tear, commercial use, accident, or external causes. Unauthorized repair, modifica- tion or customization of your product voids this warranty. For warranty service on covered defects during the warranty period, contact Knockdown at support@knockdown.fit
Before providing warranty service, Knockdown may require you to provide proof of purchase details, including but not limited to a receipt or sales invoice.
This limited warranty gives you specific rights that are in addition to other rights you may have under applicable laws, including your rights against the person who sold the Knockdown product to you. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOWEVER, THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY BOSE. BOSE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT), AND KNOCKDOWN’S LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE.
