Product Description
The nVent LENTON Cadweld filler material is a proprietary blend of iron and
aluminum. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the nVent LENTON
Cadweld Rebar Splicing System. Each bag of filler material is specifically
sized for a particular pouring basin, sleeve, and reinforcing steel
combination. The bag also contains a tube of starting powder, which is used to
initiate the exothermic reaction during the splicing process.

Step 1: Prepare the Rebar Splicing System
- Ensure you have the correct pouring basin, sleeve, and reinforcing steel combination for the specific bag of filler material.

Step 2: Open the Bag
Carefully open the heavy-duty plastic bag containing the filler material.
Ensure not to damage the tube of starting powder inside.
Step 3: Mix the Filler Material
Pour the filler material into a clean, dry container. Use a non-metallic tool
to thoroughly mix the iron and aluminum blend.
Step 4: Initiate the Exothermic Reaction

Step 5: Apply the Filler Material

tool to level and compact the filler material as required.
