Product Usage Instructions
Fabric Preparation
- Follow the provided instructions for cutting the fabric based on the specified measurements.
- Label the fabric pieces accordingly for easy identification during the quilting process.

- Thread to match fabrics
- Sewing machine with power cord and foot pedal
- Quarter inch foot
- Pins
- Scissors
- Seam ripper
- Optional: small iron and ironing surface (classroom irons available)

- Fabric requirements and preparation:
- Background – 1 1/2 yard
- Cut 1 – 21 1/2” strip
- Cut 1 – 10 1/4” strip
- Cut 1 – 9 1/2” strip
- Cut 2 – 5” strips
- Assorted Colored Fabrics – 3/4 yard total
- Cut into 33 – 5” squares
- Choose 23 squares and label #1
- Choose 10 squares and label #3
- Fabric A – 5/8 yard
- Cut 2 – 5” strips
- Subcut 6 – 5” x 5” squares and label #3
- Bring the remaining fabric to class
- Cut 1 – 9 1/2” strip and label #4.5
- Fabric B – 1/2 yard
- Cut 3 – 5” strips
- Subcut 3 – 5” squares from the 1st strip and label #1/3
- Bring the remaining strip to class
- Subcut 2 – 5” squares from the 2nd strip and label #1/3
- Bring the remaining strip to class
- Leave the 3rd strip whole and bring to class
- Thread to match fabrics
- Sewing machine with power cord and foot pedal
