Steel-Line Wind Brace Post
Product Information
The Wind Brace Post is a telescopic post designed to provide additional support and stability to structures in windy conditions. It is made of durable materials to ensure long-lasting performance. The post-base key and chain brackets are included for easy installation and removal.
Specifications
- Material: Durable steel
- Telescopic design
- Includes post-base key and chain brackets
Installation
- Remove the soft plastic cover, if it is already fitted.
- Insert the post-base key into the base plate on the floor. Make sure to orient the post key to match the shape in the base plate.
- Position the post temporarily by securing it to a strut using the chain from one of the chain brackets. This prevents the post from falling over during the next step.
- Lift the top inner post and fix it to the wall bracket. Remove the pin, insert the top arm into the bracket clevis, and re-install the pin. Note that the posts are telescopic, allowing for adjustable height.
- Feed the chain under and over the strut (hat section) and hook it back onto the chain bracket. Repeat this step for all posts to strut connections.
Removal
To remove the Wind Brace Post, simply reverse the steps mentioned above:
- Unhook the chain from the chain brackets and remove it from under and over the strut.
- Remove the pin from the top arm of the post and detach it from the wall bracket.
- Release the temporary securing chain from the strut.
- Remove the post-base key from the base plate on the floor.
TO REMOVE – Reverse the steps noted above
