Steel-Line-SC12-Aluminium-Roller-Grille-PRO

Product Information

The SC12 Aluminium Roller Grille is an attractive solution for applications that require a barrier against theft and debris, while also considering visual access, airflow, and light infiltration. It features a brick-like pattern and is constructed from aluminium tubing connected with moulded nylon links, providing a strong operable curtain. The extruded bottom rail can be fitted with a concealed two-way lock or lockable shoot bolts, and waist-high locking is also available. The side guides are made of extruded aluminium, with an optional Nylon Felt Buffer.

The roller drum is manufactured from spiral ducted tube attached to self- lubrication drum wheels and bearings rotating on a steel shaft. The curtain is constructed of aluminium tubes at 50mm centres connected with nylon links spaced at specific intervals to form the grille’s pattern. The side guide is made of extruded aluminium with a false back to conceal fixings, and an optional Nylofelt Buffer is available. The locking mechanism can be centrally mounted with a Two Way Mortice Key Lock or Sliding Shoot Bolt Locking mounted within the bottom rail, and waist high locking is also available.

The bottom rail is an extruded aluminium section incorporating a locking device and concealed locking rods, and an optional PVC Buffer is available. The shaft is fitted with helical springs designed to counterbalance the curtain weight throughout its operation. Two-piece extruded aluminium mullions can be set to any angle and are used for wide openings and multiple door installations. Special wide mullions fabricated from aluminium sheet are used when two grilles meet at an angle with no room for stacking. The SC12 Aluminium Roller Grille is designed for manual hand operation as standard, but motorization or chain operation is optional. It is available in an anodised finish and various powder coated colors.
