Safety instructions

In general

The user manual is part of the product and contains important information for correct use.

Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.

The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the product.

Keep this user manual.
Do not modify product and accessories.
Do not open the housing.
Do not short-circuit connectors and circuits.

The lamps cannot be replaced!
If the product is damaged and/or the seals are missing, it must no longer be used.
Do not operate a device if it is not in working order. In such cases, it must be secured against unintentional further use.

Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect condition.
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, microwaves, vibrations and me- chanical pressure.
In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact your dealer or producer.

Not meant for children. The product is not a toy!

Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against accidental use.
Do not cover the product.

Batteries

The batteries are replaceable.

Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

The remote control is equipped with a lithium-manganese button cell. If swallowed, there is a risk of se- vere internal burns or even death.

Seek immediate medical attention if you believe someone may have swallowed or otherwise ingested the battery.
Never use batteries when they are dented, leaked or damaged.
Remove leaked, deformed or corroded batteries from the product and dispose them using appropriate protective equipment.
If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse affected areas with water and seak medical attention immediately.
Do not deform, burn or disassemble batteries and never puncture them with a sharp object.

Extreme heat can lead to explosion and/or leakage of corrosive liquid. Mechanical damage can cause gaseous substances to escape, which can be highly irritating, flammable or toxic.

Do not short-circuit the battery or immerse it in liquids.

There is a danger of: Explosion, fire, heat, smoke and/or gas.

Remove the battery from the water immediately if it is accidentally dropped in. Place the battery in a safe, open area and keep away until it is completely dry. Do not reuse the dried battery, but dispose of it as indicated in chapter 8 „Disposal instructions“.
Do not mix old and new batteries
Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
Do not mix alkaline, carbon zinc or nickel cadmium batteries.

Description and function

Product

The product is a set of 3 battery-operated LED candles in different sizes for outdoor use (IP44). The LED candles have a timer function, flickering LED lighting and a switch (2 positions – ON/OFF). The scope of delivery also includes a 10-button remote control with which the timer function, the light mode and the brightness can be adjusted.

Intended use

This product is intended exclusively for private use and its intended purpose. This product is not intended for commercial use. We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter “Description or Function“ and „Safety Instructions“. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
IP44: This product is protected against splash and contact with foreign objects ≥ Ø 1 mm.

Preparation

Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.

Operation

Inserting and changing the batteries

Before the first operation, when the brightness of the LEDs becomes weaker or they can no longer be switched on, new batteries must be inserted.

NOTICE! Material damage due to incorrect power supply and handling

Only use the batteries specified in chapter „Specifications“ or batteries of an equivalent type.
Make sure that the sealed battery compartment cover closes tightly with the housing so that no moisture can get inside.

Turn the battery compartment cover (1) counterclockwise to open it.
Remove the old batteries if necessary.
Insert new batteries into the battery compartment (2), observing the polarity of plus and minus.
Replace the battery compartment cover and turn it clockwise to close it.

Changing the battery

Replace the empty battery with a new one of the same type if necessary.

Open the battery compartment by pushing the small lever to the side and then pulling out the battery compartment and remove the empty battery.
Place the new battery in the battery compartment with the positive pole facing upwards and slide the battery compartment closed again.
3.Dispose of the empty battery properly.

Buttons

When the LED candles are switched on via the ON/OFF switch, you can use the remote control to set the timer function, the light mode and the brightness, as well as to switch the light on and off. The following buttons are available:

2H, 4H, 6H, 8H

| Press one of the buttons to start the timer function. The number on the button stands for the number of hours the candles are on in a 24-hour period.
For example, if you press the 4H button, the 4-hour timer is activated. The LED candles switch off automatically after 4 hours and switch on again after another 20 hours. If the set timer is not changed, the LED candles switch on and off at the same time every day.

Candle

| Press the button to activate the Candle light mode.
In this mode, the LEDs simulate a flickering like from a real candle.

Light

| Press the button to activate the Standard light mode.
In this mode, the LEDs light up continuously.
| Press the button to reduce the brightness of the LEDs.
A total of 4 dimming levels are available.
| Press the button to increase the brightness of the LEDs.
A total of 4 dimming levels are available.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation

The product is maintenance-free.

NOTICE! Material damage

Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
Do not use detergents or chemicals.
Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries when not in use.
Store cool and dry.
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Disposal instructions

Product
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed with consumers waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise contaminative and hazardous substances can damage the health and pollute the environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free. Particulars are regulated in national right. The symbol on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging alludes to these terms. Batteries
(Rechargeable) batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Their components have to be supplied separately to the recycling or disposal, because toxic and dangerous ingredients can harm the environment if not disposed of sustainably. As a consumer, you are obliged to return them at the end of their service lives to the manufacturer, the sales outlet or established for this purpose, public collection points for free. Details regulates the respective country‘s law. The symbol on the product, the instruction manual and / or the packaging draws attention to those provisions.
