Battery hazards
- The batteries (rechargeable) are replaceable.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children and animals.
The digital luggage scale is equipped with a lithium button cell equipped. If swallowed, there is a risk of severe internal burns or even death. Seek immediate medical attention if you believe someone may have swallowed or otherwise ingested the battery.

Never use batteries when they are dented, leaked or damaged.

Remove leaked, deformed or corroded batteries from the product and dispose of them by appropriate protectives.

If a battery has leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse affected areas with water and seek medical attention immediately.

Do not deform, incinerate or dismantle batteries and never pierce them with a sharp object.
Extreme heat can lead to explosion and/or leakage of corrosive liquid. Mechanical damage can cause gaseous substances to escape, which can be highly
irritating, flammable or toxic. -
Do not short-circuit batteries or immerse them in liquids.

Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use and its intended purpose. This product is not intended for commercial use. We do not permit using the device in other ways as described in the chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
IP20:
This product is protected against medium-sized foreign bodies, but not against
water ingress.
Preparation
- Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
Operation
Weighing and setting the unit of measurement
- Press the on/off switch once to turn the scale on.
- Press the on/off switch again until the desired unit of measurement is shown on the display.
- Make sure that the belt is properly hooked.
- Place the strap around a sturdy holder of your luggage and close it.
- Lift the luggage scale and luggage until the luggage floats in the air.
- Wait until „HOLD“ is displayed.
- Read the weight from the display.
- Press the on/off switch once to weigh again.
- Press and hold the on/off switch once to switch off the scale.
Weighing with tare weight
- Place the strap around the object to be used as a tare weight.
- Lift the suitcase scale and the object up, until the object is suspended in the air.
- Press the on/off switch once to turn the scale on.
- Remove the object. A negative weight is displayed.
- Follow steps 3. to 9. in chapter 5.1.
Alternatively, the tare weight can be set on model 71883 by pressing the on- off switch for about 3 seconds after hanging the item.
Data Lock function
The Data Lock function allows you to read the measured weight even after you
have put the weighed object down. After „HOLD“ appears on the display, the
measured value continues to be displayed for approx. 5 seconds before the
display jumps back to the value 0.
Changing the battery
- Open the battery compartment.
- Remove the empty battery.
- Insert a new battery of the same type in the marked polarity.
- Close the battery compartment.
Maintenance, Care, Storage, and Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.

Material damage
- Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use detergents or chemicals.
- Remove batteries/rechargeable batteries when not in use.
- Store the product out of the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
- Store cool and dry.
- Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
Disposal instructions

be recycled or disposed of apart from each other. Otherwise contaminative and
