Controls and Parts

Setup

1. For Models 49854 and 49855: Remove the contact protection tab from the battery compartment.
2. For Models 44590, 55603, 66736, 66737, and 66744: Slide the battery compartment in the direction indicated by the arrow.
3. All Models: Insert new batteries as per the specified type and quantity.

Operation
The LED light chain turns on, automatically switches off after 6 hours, and then back on after another 18 hours. Adjust the timer settings as needed.

  The LED string lights must not be electrically connected to other string lights.

• Do not short connectors and circuits.

• Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect condition.
  If damage is present and/or seals are missing, the product must not longer be used!
  The electric line of this LED string light can not be replaced.

• In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and other problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact your dealer or producer.

Target group information
Not meant for children. The product is not a toy!

• Secure packaging, small parts and insulation against accidental use.
• Avoid direct contact of the LEDs with the eyes!
• Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight, vibration and mechanical pressure.
• Do not attach any objects to the LED light string.

Fire hazard

• Do not operate the LED light string inside the packaging.
• Do not allow any parts of the unit to come into contact with heat or flame.

Batteries
Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.

Intended Use

• ****We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms.
• Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Commissioning

• CAUTION! Risk of injury by stumbling and falling
• Mind placing cables in a way, nobody will be disabled and the cable not be damaged.
• NOTE! Material damage due to incorrect placement and incorrect voltage supply
• Do not hang up the string light close to sharp and flammable objects.
• Ensure, that the cables are loose and not overstretched.
• Otherwise there is a risk of cable breakage.
• Only use batteries of the same type listed in chapter „Specifications“.

1. Spread out the product completely.
2. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
3. Model 49854 and 49855: Pull the battery separator out of the battery compartment.
4. Model 44950, 55603, 66736, 66737 and 66744: Slide the battery compartment open in the direction of the arrow.
5. Model 44950, 55603, 66736, 66737 and 66744: Insert 2 new batteries into the battery compartment, observing the polarity of plus and minus.
6. Model 44950, 55603, 66736, 66737 and 66744: Slide the battery compartment cover back onto the battery compartment against the direction of the arrow.
7. Model 49854 and 49855: Place the light chain in an empty bottle.
8. Models 44590, 5563, 66736, 66737 and 66744: Hang the light chain.

Operating

Model 44590, 49855 and 66736

1. Timer 49855:

2. Press the TIMER / ON / OFF button (3) once.

3. To switch off, press the TIMER / ON / OFF button twice again.

4. Timers 44590 and 66736:

5. Slide the TIMER / ON / OFF button (3) to the „Timer“ position.

6. The LED light chain goes on, switches off automatically after 6 hours and switches on again after another 18 hours. If the timer settings are not changed, the LED light chain switches on and off at the same time every day. To switch off, move the TIMER / ON / OFF button to the „OFF“ position.

7. Permanent ON switching 49855:
   Press the TIMER / ON / OFF button twice.

8. Permanent ON switching 44590 and 66736:
   Slide the TIMER / ON / OFF button to the „ON“ position.
   The LED light chain goes on and burns permanently. It only goes out again by pressing the switch again or moving the switch to the „OFF“ position.

Model 49854, 55603, 66737 and 66744

1. Switch ON:
   Slide the ON / OFF switch to the „On“ position.

2. Switch OFF:
   To switch off, slide the ON / OFF switch to the „OFF“ position.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transport

• The products are maintenance-free.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store cool and dry.
• Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries when not in use.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Disposal Instructions
