The 2-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner removes everyday dirt, dust and debris. Grab and go
by switching between handheld and floor modes. Being easy-to-use with a
foldable handle, convenient for storage. With dust and HEPA filters for
effective cleaning.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Carefully read all the instructions before using the appliance and keep in a
safe place for future reference. Always follow these safety precautions when
using the appliance to avoid personal injury or damage to the appliance. This
appliance should be used only as
described in this instruction book.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Make sure your electricity supply matches the voltage shown on the appliance.
- Ensure all packaging materials and any promotional labels or stickers are removed from the appliance before the first use.

- Always use the appliance on a dry surface and not in rooms with a high humidity.
- Unplug from the mains when not in use and before cleaning. To disconnect, turn the socket to “off” and remove the plug from the mains socket.
- Do not use any accessories or attachments with this appliance other than those recommended by Lakeland.
- To protect against fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, plug or lid in water or other liquids.
- Do not leave the lead hanging over the edge of a bed, kitchen table or worktop, where it may be pulled by children, or tripped over.
- For indoor use only and not in bathrooms.
- For domestic use only.
- This appliance should be used for vacuuming as described within the instructions.
- Always ensure that your hands are dry before removing the plug from the mains socket. Never pull the plug out of the mains socket by its lead.
- To avoid injury or possible fire, do not cover the appliance when in use.
- Not recommended to be used with a plug in timer switch.
- An earthed extension cable may be used with care. The electrical rating of the cable should be at least as great as the appliance. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of the worktop or touch any hot surfaces.
- WARNING! A cut off plug inserted into a 13 amp socket is a serious safety (shock) hazard. Ensure the cut off plug is disposed of safely.
- CAUTION: The plastic bags used to wrap this appliance or the packaging may be dangerous. To avoid risk of suffocation, keep these bags out of reach of babies and children. These bags are not toys.
- This appliance is a dry vacuum cleaner, DO NOT use it to suck up liquid of any type.
- DO NOT immerse the charger or vacuum cleaner into the water for cleaning to avoid any risk.
- DO NOT try to lubricate the rollers with lubricant or oil. This will cause the dust and dirt to increasingly adhere to the rollers.
- NOTE: A small amount of dust residue in the dust container is possible. This is a result of quality checks during production and does not constitute a defect or used appliance.
- WARNING: Whenever the appliance is in use, as there are rotating parts, keep loose clothing, hair, fingers etc. Away from the floor brush and suction nozzle.
AC ADAPTOR – CHARGER
- Only use the adaptor supplied by Lakeland.
- The AC adaptor has been designed for a specific voltage. Always check that the mains voltage is the same as that stated on the rating plate.
- An adaptor that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. Never use an adaptor from another appliance to attempt to charge this appliance.
- Before use, check the adaptor cord for signs of damage or ageing. A damaged or entangled cord increases the risk of fire and electric shock.
- Never carry the charger by the cord and DO NOT pull the cord to disconnect from a socket.
- Keep the charger cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
- The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the charger should be discarded and replaced.
LI-ION BATTERY SAFETY
- This appliance includes Li-Ion batteries; DO NOT incinerate batteries or expose to high temperatures, as they may explode.
- DO NOT expose the battery pack to excessive shock, this may result in leakage of the electrolyte solution which could cause personal injury.
- Leaks from the battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. DO NOT touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets on the skin wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, flush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- DO NOT short the battery terminals as this may cause burns or fire.
- When disposing of the appliance remove the battery and dispose of the battery safely in accordance with local regulations.
USING YOUR 2-IN-1 VACUUM CLEANER FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Unpack the appliance, remove all of the packaging materials.
HANDHELD VACUUM
- To remove the handheld vacuum from the main body, press the release button and the handheld vacuum will be released from the main body.
- To replace the handheld vacuum in the main body, insert the suction nozzle of the handheld vacuum into the opening at the bottom of the main body. Push into the main body until it clicks into place.
FLOOR BRUSH
- To attach the floor brush to the main body, insert the floor brush connector to the bottom of the main body, until it clicks into place.
- To remove the floor brush, press the sliver button and then pull apart.
UPRIGHT STICK VACUUM (MAIN BODY)
- Bring the folded down handle up until it locks into place and this will then become the upright stick vacuum.
- To fold the stick handle down, turn the stick handle release button to unlock from the upright position, then fold the handle downwards.
CHARGING THE 2-IN-1 VACUUM CLEANER
- Insert the charger unit into the charger stand, push down firmly until it is locked into place.
- Position the charging unit on a dry, flat surface.
- To affix to the wall, use the raw plugs and screws provided, affixing through the 3 holes in the charger unit (upright) part of the charging unit. Position in a suitable place before affixing to the wall, in an area where there are no electrical cables or water pipes behind. No more than 1m from a mains wall electrical socket.
- With the 2-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner fully assembled as an upright stick vacuum, hook it on to the charging unit.
- Insert the small end of the adaptor into the side of the charging unit. Place the power adaptor plug into the mains wall electrical power socket and switch on.
- Only use the mains adaptor which is supplied with the appliance.
- Fully charge the appliance before first use.
- It takes 4 to 6 hours to fully charge the battery, when fully charged the 4 power indicator lights on the front of the handheld vacuum part will be fully illuminated.
- The appliance cannot be activated during the charging process.
- When fully charged the appliance will work for approximately 1 hour, depending on power setting.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- The appliance should only be used if it has been completely and correctly assembled. The dust container and filters must be inserted and must not be damaged. If the dirt were to get into the motor unit, it could damage the motor.
- When you switch on the vacuum for the first time you may notice a slight burning smell, this is normal for a new appliance and will stop after a few uses.
INTENDED USE
DO NOT use the appliance to suck up the following:
- Liquids or wet substances (e.g. wet carpet shampoo).
- Glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches and the like.
- Inflammable or explosive substances.
- Very fine dust (e.g. concrete dust), ash, or toner.
- Pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass.
USING THE UPRIGHT STICK VACUUM (MAIN BODY)
- Remove the Upright Stick Vacuum from the charging unit.
- Press the on/off power button and the appliance will start to run, the 4 LED lights on the front of the floor brush will illuminate whilst the upright stick vacuum is switched on.
- Press the speed button once to change to low speed or press again to change to high speed.
- Guide the appliance slowly over the surface to be cleaned.
- To stop the appliance press the on/off power button.
- Always empty the dust container after each use.
- During operation, please pay attention to the 4 power indicator lights, which are on the handheld vacuum, these will gradually go out as the battery power reduces, the appliance will stop working automatically when all the power indicators have gone out.
USING THE HANDHELD VACUUM

To remove the handheld vacuum from the main body, press the release button and the handheld vacuum will be released from the main body.

Insert either the brush or crevice tool into the suction nozzle.

The brush is good for curtains, carpets, chairs etc.

The crevice tool is good for difficult places and stairs.

Press the on/off power button on the handheld vacuum and the appliance will start to run.

The handheld vacuum only has one speed.

Guide the appliance slowly over the surface to be cleaned.

To stop the appliance press the on/off power button.

Always empty the dust container after each use.

During operation, please pay attention to the 4 power indicator lights, these will gradually go out as the battery power reduces, the appliance will stop working automatically when all the power indicators have gone out.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question: Why is the 2-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner not charging up?
Answer: Check that the mains charger adaptor is plugged into the charging unit correctly and is switched on at the mains wall socket. Remove and reseat the 2-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner on the charging unit to make sure that it is correctly in position and a connection is made between the two.
Question: Why is the 2-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner not picking up or the floor brush running slowly?
Answer: There maybe hairs or fibres wrapped around the roller brush or there may be a blockage in the floor brush. Remove the roller brush and clean the hairs or fibres, sometimes they can also be found in the ends of the roller brush. Remove any debris behind where the roller brush is placed in the floor brush. Then replace the roller brush.
Question: Why is the handheld vacuum not picking up or got low suction?
Answer: The dust container maybe too full. Check that both filters are not heavily clogged, if they are clogged, remove filters and clean. The suction opening maybe blocked, remove any obstruction.
Question: Why during vacuum cleaning is there an unpleasant smell?
Answer: When you switch on the vacuum for the first time you may notice a slight burning smell, this is normal for a new appliance and will stop after a few uses. Check the filters and dust container for blockages and clear. If the smell persists or if when used frequently the appliance develops a smell, stop using it, switch off and unplug from the mains socket and contact Lakeland customer care team on 015394 88100 or info@lakeland.co.uk
CARE AND CLEANING
- Switch off the appliance and let it cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean thoroughly before using for the first time and after every use.
- Check the parts for wear or damage after every few uses.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Empty the dust container each time after you have used the appliance. The filters must also be regularly cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the motor.
- Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the appliance. These can damage the surface.
- Store the appliance in a dry, cool place that is not accessible to children and animals.
EMPTYING THE DUST CONTAINER
- Remove the handheld vacuum from the main body, press the release button and the handheld vacuum will be released from the main body.
- Press the silver dust container release buttons on both sides of the dust container, which are below the MAX line and above the suction nozzle.
- Remove the dust container from the handheld vacuum by placing your fingers into the recess on the filter section at the top of the dust container and pull it out to remove the filters out of the dust container.
- Empty the dust container into a bin.
- Wipe out the dust container with a dry cloth if necessary.
CLEANING THE DUST AND HEPA FILTERS
- Place you fingers into the recess and turn the HEPA filter anticlockwise until unlocked and able to remove.
- Detach the dust filter from the HEPA filter.
- Tap out both filters and clean them with a soft brush if necessary.
- If the appliance starts to work inefficiently, you can remove the filters and rinse with water, wipe to remove residual water and dry completely before reinserting.
- Place the dust filter on the HEPA filter.
- Turn the HEPA filter clockwise until locked into place.
- Insert the filters into the dust container.
- Insert the dust container with filters into the handheld vacuum.
CLEANING THE FLOOR BRUSH
- Remove the floor brush from the base of upright stick vacuum, by pressing the silver button and pulling the floor brush attachment off the main body.
- Press the roller brush release tab, to open the roller brush cover and then remove the roller brush.
- Scratch along the slot of roller brush with a blade (not included) to cut debris wrapped around the roller brush.
- Install the roller brush back into the floor brush, with the white end of the roller brush at the end where the roller brush release tab is, you need to put the opposite end in first. The roller brush will only go in one way around.
- Then close the roller brush release tab.
